I’m with Bucks on this. Plenty of evidence and footage to prove Mick is a fwit.

The master of saying a lot without saying anything at all.

He’s never wrong.

He snaps whenever people question or cross him.

Would be great in most boardrooms. Textbook narcissist.

Bucks is telling some porky pies.

It was Bucks who wouldn't let Mick in the coaches box, then on the bench. He just kept pushing him away. I know this for a fact.

Same.
There has been some talk of Voss with Roos as a Neil Craig type role.

If that's the case, then why didn't the club get Roos for BB in that type of role. It would've made more sense and far less drama for the club, the mind boggles on their decision making.

hard to bring him in at this stage. basically tells the world that the club has no faith in the coach

I suspect Roos had no faith in the coach as well.

I know you’re trying to make a point about people holding grudges, but this is a weird thing to say.

Perhaps you didn't get my gist.

Agree, it should've been done at the start of the season instead of Walls, especially given the extra pressure we created by trading our first pick and if any of the board or SOS had questions about BBs abilities to deliver.

Absolutely agree, it dumbfounds how that did not happen, Brendon’s application was excellent however a mentor like Paul Roos would have rounded off his rough edges and simplified his game plan.
Robert Walls could not fill the role, for obvious reasons.

A possibility, but isn't that the role of a mentor to help guide change for the better? Especially given Hardwick said BB walks into Richmond any day of the week.

Paul Roos is no Neil Craig.

Clarkson 0% and is contracted until 2021. Our coach is already locked in as a I mentioned last week - BB days outnumbered and we have a coach lined up who was very out of favour at his last club. He has a current contract and it will surprise a lot of people but he already has a relationship with a few players on the list.

1: I wouldn’t read too much into big footy rumours.

2: sounds like Brett Montgomery to me. Parted ways with the bulldogs in disappointing circumstances on the eve of their premiership win, is in contract as an assistant with Port, has history with our club as an assistant and would have a relationship with Simpson, Murphy, Kreuzer and Jones at a minimum. Has completed the level 4 coaching course and was regarded as a senior coaching candidate when he left the dogs at the end of 2016.

I'm surprised only a singe vote for Teague. I think I'd like to reserve judgement until we see what he can do to the team for the next few weeks. If he can release the potential of this group, then our search for a new coach might get interesting. I have a feeling that his forward line coaching was inhibited by Bolton's 'plan'.

I can just see us committing to a new coach before the end of the season and then Teague coaching us to 8 wins in the meantime. Would be awkward.

A la Wallace/Roos at the Swans.

I'd take 8 wins though.

If winning 8 games in the meantime means me walking up and down Bourke Street naked and in a stooped position - I might just take awkward.

Roos looking over Voss would be nice, however even this combo is no guarantee

What we have to remember is when the club appointed Bolts they went through an extensive process and we still ended up with a coach who could not get us competitive

Here's hoping with fingers and toes crossed it works out differently this time.

Malthouse publicly stepped away from the agreement the night of the 2011 Grand Final. The night of his last game as coach.
He also stated that he had made his mind up 6 weeks beforehand.

I fail to see how Buckley had pushed him away from anything as Buckley hadn't commenced as coach. :?
