Excellent; we're closer to the same song sheet than before. :)

FWIW, I want a little more rigidity in the positioning of the forwards, but the defenders and midfield need to be more positionally fluid with an without the ball, and probably need to not press so high up the ground (often the last defender is at the half way mark, as if AFL has an offside rule all of a sudden).

close enough

Yeah time to get off Mick the Carlton coach and focus on the board.. I'm sure we still will bump into mick in those threads.
Put a fork in this one.. It's all done!

Welcome back John.

Will this be as spot on as 'Simmo to retire & be an umpire' or 'if mick goes this year buttifant will follow'?

Personally I'm wrapped that I don't I have to defend the guy anymore.
Always struck me as person of questionable character, at least in public anyway.
Remember the lie about speaking to Milne?
I'd much rather stick up for John Barker, (not necessarily here, but I'm referring to talking to non-Carlton people).

Mick Malthouse will speak exclusively to @FOXFootyLive at 8.30pm tomorrow. @GerardWhateley doing the interview.

GW: Have you seen James' spreadsheet?

MM: No. But make no mistake, it was a very, very good spreadsheet.

As I said on twitter yesterday…

mickwarner @heraldsunmick
Malthouse won't be at press conference. Debacle

TalkingCarlton.com @TalkingCarlton
@heraldsunmick Of course not. He wants his own stage. He will control his story and (figuratively) sell it to you lot hook line and sinker!

Rob Walls on Malthouse (written 30 August 2012)...

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/m ... 2514j.html

Hindsight reflects well on this piece. At least inasmuch as Mick being the wrong option.
