Partly cloudy, still a little windy

The low tonight is around 8 degrees so hopefully wont be to cold or wet

Perhaps just my nervous nellie disorder but I can see us finding a way to lose this.

Desperately want to win. Losing breaks my heart and ruins my whole weekend. Be nice to actually win on a Friday night.

We will control the game for the most part go to sleep for about 15mins Cloke gets on a roll and we lose by 15pts....but its another honorable loss

cheers Jez

I suspect the wind will still be blowing hard and will be swirly at the G...as long as it doesn't rain then I suspect we will me outmarking and outrunning them....and we should win the ruck to have the ball going our way.

Gotta win.

Gotta.

Knowing out luck, the wind will probably change direction mid way through the game and give them an extra advantage..

As long as I can remember losing to the Gold Coast reserves, I just can't feel confident because the other side has injuries

They have a heap of players with under 20 games. We have no excuses.

1. It's Mick's first year and he's just seeing what everyone has to offer
2. It's Ratten's list

I reckon these might get trotted out pretty quickly.

BG i have been planted indoors all day, didn't even venture out at lunch. I have my termals all ready for tonight.

Looking out the window, the wind has died down quiet a bit..

Go Blues!!!!

McInnes giving away 17cms and 27 kgs against Witts - don't think that match up is on the cards.

Why not? Is it because McInnes is better one on one and can expose Witts defensively?

That's the thing.

McInnes in the U18's just wasn't beaten...not flashy, but never beaten.
He's a great one on one player. Got into the seniors and did the same.

I'm only 178 and I use to love playing against the KP's who weren't monsters like Kekovich types... but much bigger than me....and its all to do with smarts, positioning and then getting the ball when it hits the deck.

McInnes is much much taller than 178 and should be able to compete against a novice.

Is he really 27Kgs heavier...doesn't sound right.

Stats have Witts at 208cm and 113kg and McInnes at 191cm and 86kg.

So that's what I based the differential on - yes McInnes could expose him when the ball hits the deck but one out marking duel there is going to be a problem.

Based on Collingwood supporters' angst regarding Witts earlier in the season, I don't imagine he'll be a major threat. The general consensus being that he had no idea what he was doing on a footy field.

Haven't been following this thread all week, but like that Nick Graham is listed as emergency. What chance he might be a late in for Murph (or someone else)?

Sounds feasible, seems a bit risky with three blokes a bit underdone.

We need Kruze to really take control tonight, he needs to dominate around the ground, no excuses really, this is a weak Collingwood ruck division tonight, probably the weakest in the AFL.

Are his middle names "Brad" & "Moran"?
