Where does Walker’s goal against the Saints in R7 rank among the best Carlton goals?

It was pretty good – gets it at HB, cuts to the other side, bags it from 50m, avoids a confused teammate's poor attempt to shephard along the way.

Bradleys’ goal against WC and Bosustow’s goal in the pocket against Geelong at Waverly are the two best Carlton goals in my book.

Not as good as any of Krakouer's goals that's for sure.

Do you want my opinion or Kevin Bartlett's?

I thought it was selfish at the time and an early indicator that we were in for a bad night.

He's feeling confident. Good on him.

We were there to see the Buzz's goal that day; and it was unbelievably great and team lifting; but......looking at it now under today's

rules.....he ''legged'' Nankervis.....and it would've been a free kick to Geelong....and what a tragedy that would've been.......

World of Sport - Grand Final edition (Sunday 27th September 1981) was the Peter Bosustow Show as he walked away with both Mark of the Year (my avatar) and Goal of the Year, and if memory serves he may have picked up Play of the Year on the ABC program The Winners for his goal as well.

I guess he was lucky that Kevin Bartlett wasn't on the judging panel hey.

Gee Neil Neilson did pretty well 26 weeks of Television exposure for a $3600 investment not to bad even in 1981 dollars, didn't even have to provide a car as a prize.

I was told by a former player that the Buzz never forgave himself for leaving us.....with his great success at Carlton; he thought he didn't need us anymore; and would return to Perth like some kind of Superhero....a very rash decision by him at the time.

He (allegedly) tried very hard to walk thru a glass door back in Perth after a few drinks and came off second best......the Buzz was not a shy and reserved person.......

Same, the first Carlton player I can remember idolising.

I share a birthday with the Buzz. Imagine my surprise on my 10th birthday to open an envelope that arrived in the mail containing a hand written and signed birthday card from the Buzz, along with a photo. My parents had written to him via the club, and he had obliged.

Never kept it.

Still a long way behind Lloyd's amazingly courageous and incredibly skilful goal square backheel, make no mistake.
