I guess this appointment vindicates some of the previous criticism/s of the clubs performance in recruiting.

Comes from good stock, so can't complain about this appointment.

MJ was initially the resident 'All things Video' guy at Carlton. This year he has now taken on the extra role as assistant recruiter to combine with his video talents.

Kid who started with the Bullants, got a job with Carlton and looks like he's getting some experience in the recruiting area. Am I right Caz? I thought he was doing some digital media stuff last time....anyway...

As for the guy from Geelong - if Shane Rogers wanted it - that's great. The more the merrier. We had about 50 recruiters in the 80's. This is all about keeping up with the Joneses...and in the AFL, Collingwood are the Joneses.

Damn, was liking the debating comp with Synbad and Mr Caz as leads.
