Trigg said "Hickmont".

So impressed that the club has done this.

Such a healthy step forward.

Well done.

I notice its been named 'The Peter Dean Father-Son Acadamy'.

Fantastic to see Peter Dean acknowledged.

Quote:
The name of the academy, which will change every five years, aims to recognise and acknowledge the contributions made by past Carlton players – the inaugural Father-Son Academy has been named in honour of fan favourite Peter Dean, whose seven-year-old son Harry attended the launch with him.

Quote:
Today’s launch brought together Carlton players past and present, along with some of the academy players:
•Craig and Jake Bradley
•Adrian and Tom Gleeson
•Glenn, Oskar and Archi Manton
•Sergio, Stephen, Jack, Ben and Tom Silvagni
•Jim and Dylan Buckley
•Mil and Max Hanna
•Dean and Bailey Rice
•Lance and Dane Whitnall
•Liam and Will Hickmott (sons of Adrian)
•Peter and Harry Dean
•Bryce and three-week old Charlie Gibbs
•John Nicholls
•Spirit of Carlton committee members David Rhys-Jones, Geoff Southby and Dennis Munari

Well done to the club and Spirit of Carlton on the launch.

The ones in the academy? According to Trigg it would be available to all sons of ex-players between 10 and 18 who are interested.

Why did Jarrad Waite get invited to talk to them?
Dylan Buckley would have been more appropriate.
Waite has turned his back on the club for money.

Far from it, but he was there today to lend his support to the club and to the father son academy. Full credit to him because it is not easy for him these days.
