best defensive team in the comp
why?
Son of Serge!!!
Possibly our greatest player
We should leave a money trail to visy park and reclaim our son!
while we are at lets recruit Wayne 'The King' Carey as our forward couch
im sure he would be alot more insightful than Lappin ...

perhaps we should get Parkin back, after all he coached SOS to a premierdship and surely that's got to be better :smoking:

Silvagni..yes!
Carey? ...blah blah yadda yadda greatest..whatever.
Cannot STAND the guy.
Let him go help North.
There's more to people and character than just ON field behaviour.
Hec, anyone super talented who loves the NavyBlue should come home and help out.

I think James Hird is more qualified for that position.

Plus he is from Canberra, like Jezza. He was even better than SOS!

GET JEZZA!!!

I agree with bringing SOS as a Backline Coach, but according to his wife he would never set foot at Carlton again till a certain person leave the Club, whoever that player is I don’t know.
Beside James Hird, I don’t think you can go wrong with Damian Brereton as a forward Coach, he was one of the best CHF the game ever had (if not the best) the trouble is being able of getting him to come over.
As for Ratten as a leader all I can say is that year Carlton made him Captain and he got injured and we had a rotation of Players as acting Captain, it was Camporeale who lifted the whole team, and was capable of getting all the Players to rally around him.

My old man ran into SOS in a cafe recently and he suggested that after he finishes at St Kilda he is unlikely to coach again.

So we can say we should get SOS but I am sure there are just as good coaches out there and the Saints defensive structures are not solely the responsibility of SOS its the whole coaching department.

I do agree we should get an assistant coach who has a background and a former key position player.

I wouldn't think SOS would work at a club with WayneKing after what happened all those years ago.

Should throw bucketloads of money at Glen Jackovich.
