I can see the Roos winning 4 possibly 5 in the run home. Considering our percentage is another game, it would mean 3 or at worst 4 more wins to confirm our finals gig.

Would love to know who you think we will beat in the run home. You would think that 11 wins and a decent % might get you in.

Sydney - Cant see us winning this one, tough, contested football we crumble.

WCE - Should win but they will be desperate to avoid the spoon.

Coll - As much as I would love sticking one in these turds, not a chance.

Ess - See above, we just cant beat them though, we make them look like world beaters against us.

Richmond - Maybe 5 weeks ago this looked winnable, not now.

Geelong - No

Freo - couldnt beat them in Melbourne, cant see us beating them there.

maybe we finish 8th and Freo finish 5th, how cool would that be if we have to travel to Perth 2 weeks in a row..

A week ago I said we'd beat them at Subi as they are getting injured and the kids are a bit tired.

We still could beat them, but the MC got it so wrong against them last time I doubt they'd get it right now.

Seriously, how has it helped waiting until now to announce it. What would have been different if they announced it at the beginning of the season?

At the beginning of the season Freemantle were no chance to make finals and Carlton were probably a 30/70 chance to make finals. If you do the draw on that basis then it would be no problem with Freemantle V Carlton being played on Sunday as a twilight game in Round 22. The first week of the finals games are scheduled Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

You are doing the finals draws and Freo has to travel to Melbourne and Carlton have to travel to Sydney to play there first final. Which day/night are you going to put them on?

The AFL said that due to fixture complaints in the final round, they would have a fluid fixture to be finalised later in the season so every team had at least a 6 day break.

Personally I think they've announced it a little early.
