as outlandish as that may sound, i reckon you might be on the money donstuie. it seems as if the players are treating it like everything denis taught them was bad and he is the root of all evil (not unlike some posters on here). for all the outdated and ineffective things denis implemented, there were some things he knew about football and that's why he was a coach. we need to find the right balance and not treat it as if we have to play at the other end of the scale to how denis made us play. i'm not blaming ratten it's just that it'll take a while for the players to adapt to his gameplan and adopt it to all of its measures and not be affected by previous gameplans. denis is gone now we have nothing to do with him so we need to play footy the way we are being instructed to atm.

Hadley receives the ball inside the centre square running the wrong way and chips it 20 metres straight back to Thornton, who is awarded the mark.

Problem?

In the NAB Cup all backward kicks are play on. :shock:
