Sorry tyrano,
Can't agree, not much of a Carlos fan but happened to catch the New Orleans Jazz blues festival one year and the guy went off. Some of the smoothest riffs ever heard.
I still wouldn't know his stuff but wow, he blew that show away.

either that or I was really pissed...

Tyrant, you are just showing the arrogance of youth. You judge everthing from your own persepective without appreciating what came before, or in this case, what didn't come before.

He is listed as an emergency on afl dot com dot au, surely that means he's been elevated?

I don't necessarily agree with you about Santana (although I find a lot of his later stuff derivative....or is that just "his sound"), but I agree....Santy it is.

And, if he's as good as everyone says, then we might think all our Christmases have come at once, and he'll be Santa....

You wanted to call him Boz before. What's happened to that?

makes you really wonder wht the hell fish hasn't been on the LTI injury list since the start of the season. now fish is two full months away from being able to play VFL, even though he is already in full training.

must be a kick in the guts to him. he cant play till round 14 or 15 now.

give him a month to build up match fitness and form in the VFL and it's round 19 or so before he gets a gig.

not really fair on the kid

Disliking things is "arrogance of youth". Hmm.. I could have sworn my 84 year old grandmother isn't totally enamoured of EVERYTHING.

Santana is derivative crap. He might be a good guitarist.... but that doesn't make a good song on its own.

And don't get me started on Van Morrison.

I'd take "Boz" or "Jeepster" as more suitable nicknames.
