Look at that Maxy, every f**king horse with a C in its name!

Sorry about the dodgy 12th man refererence to start, but we're getting a clearer picture of our injured players today. 3LO just reported the following on Chambers and Carrots.

Chambers: had a scan immediately after the game last night and is having more tests, not sounding too good. I think 4-6 weeks will be our best case scenario.

Carrots: has torn a calf muscle and is looking at a 4 week rehab.

Campo: not discussed (that I heard) on 3LO just now, but I did catch a snippet on FoxFooty earlier today and he's being monitored, my guess is he might miss a week, but will be right to go in R8. Campo sheepishly suggested to reporters that he'd be right to play against the Tigers, but I did a bit of reading between the lines... ???

Thanks for that Liam.

So, Carrots and Callum are basically ruled out for next week.
Who comes in?

Do we have enough runners to cover them so we can bring in two talls? i.e Diggers and Bryan? Perhaps even Norman pending his performance in the twos?

Make no mistake, the Tigers will be no walkover.
Despite last weeks effort against the Saints, they are an alright team given the circumstances.

Need two more talls in to combat Terry's Triangle of Staff, Richo and Simmonds.

Se-tan-ta........

is callums injury, although i feel sick for saying it, the opportunity a few of us wanted to promote the big irish brute. i'd love to see him lining up at FF with Waitey or Whits at CHF.

Won't happen.
As Liam has posted, Carrots will be out for 4 weeks and Chambers will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Has to be an 8 week + injury for a promotion to occur.

Is Fisher on an LTI or was that a mistake on injury.com?

Fish is 4 weeks away from resuming in the VFL.

If you want to know what's really going on, your best bet is attending training and finding out from the player himself or reading a training report from one of TCs regular training attendants.

sounds like the injuries arent quite as bad as initially thought ?
i think we've got the depth to cover these 3
:)

Scans for Blues' midfielders

http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg= ... eid=199653

Camporeale managed to finish the game despite receiving an injury to his right knee. Scans revealed no significant damage and he will be further assessed on Monday.

Scans have revealed a small strain of a tendon in Chambers' lower leg and he will be assessed during the week.

Defender Andrew Carrazzo is expected to miss two weeks after scans revealed a tear in his left calf.

.. go blues ..

Chambers no real structural damage will have it scanned but if he gets through training will be a chance to play next week.. or the week after.
Campo maybe a week or 2
Carazzo is 2-4 weeks probably 3.

With Carrazzo out and Livo out who will get the jobs on Davey and Neitz in the last game at Optus? If he doesn't come up, Chambers will be missed more than you think as he had 8 inside 50s last night and our depth is being tested every week.

With Carrots out for a few weeks I wouldn't mind seeing Bentick being given a chance in the back pocket. How far away is Prender? I think he would be a nice acquisition to counter losing Chambers and also adds some height to the team. If Campo is out perhaps Cory McGrath will come back into the team? I don't think we have any real height to bring in so it will still be a short side but wouldn't lose a lot in pace.

Ammo I think Prenda is down to play with the Bullants today.

Aside from Bentick, Cory McGrath can come back in.

The extent of Campo's injury isn't known as he can't have an MRI because of the metal plate in his cheekbone. The only scan he has had is an ultra sound. he is having more tests tomorrow

But might Livo be in for that?

Does anyone know what the official injury is or how long he'll be out for?
