bosman I think you just nailed why I (and I assume others) get frustrated.

BEcause carlton pull arsey wins out of 1 quarter of good footy, and we know if they played 3 or 4 solid quarters, they could probably win by 4 or 5 goals.

That's where it comes from.

Well I need to get home from work - I get to travel home on the train with people from TD so be interesting to see the comments on the train.

Well done to the boys for grabbing it. Really hope it sets up a few wins in a row and even sour-pusses like me will see some better times.

OK, people, what were your margins?

I went 20 (as I always do...I'm sure there's a stat which backs me up somewhere which says that 95% of Friday matches' margins are between 0 and 28 points or thereabouts)

20 is my "lucky" margin number.....

Waite on 3LO now saying he's honoured to win the DP Medal. Felt that the guys had a chance to win at 3qtr time. Thought if they got the first goal they'd be in with a real chance. Said that he craps himself in those tight quarters, but he's stoked to get over the line.

Parko saying that Young Vin put in a good 4 quarters and helped to keep us in the game. Wonderful future ahead of him. :D

Schwab asking JW his favoured possie, Waite replied that forward is his preference, but pleasingly stated he's happy to play anywhere that benefits the team.

Lane spoke of Vin and suggested that Jarrad probably feels the game a bit more because of his dad's career at the club. He said he plays every game with his dad in mind. Now joking about the roughness of the 70s and saying that he reckons his dad would have knocked him out in the 1st quarter if he ever played on him!

Mrs Waite is in town, and is pretty proud of Jarrad, although she keeps him honest, said he might give his David Parkin medal to his mum.

Chambers looked like a medial to me, 4-6 weeks at the most.

Yeah, it looked a bit ugly, hopefully it only 4-6, but Callum needs game time.
