So far responses have been:

Add more categories:

1. Should have been done at the start of the year
2. Should never have been hired in the first place

Den Den is a man of popularity.

FINALLY A POLL!

We should print this off after a week and send it straight to Dick and Swan and even CC one to Denis.

IF there is just one thing that has impressed me this year about the club it's their attention & time that they have given back to the fans. Smorgan never realised this but Pratt has. He was the fans to be happy and the club is now, for the first time in a long time, LISTENING to the members & supporters.

PISS OF DENIS!

3. Re-elect Jack, so we can sack him again for hiring Pagan

Surely a new coach couldn't do much worse. We'd be lunatics to maintain the status quo. Give Ratten a go. He's got 9 rounds to strut his stuff. If that doesn't work out, shop around.

We can't possibly do much worse.

We have a rotating captain policy this year, why not rotating coaches. Give Ratts, Gav, Braddles and TD a week in the main chair.

Another flogging in the next couple of weeks will see him gone.

I'm pretty sure Swann/Icke/Pratt already have "their new coach" signed up. I'd certainly hope that would be the case.

One would imagine if the rumours are true in relation to Voss he would want to be on top of the players he wants to chop plus who he wants in the draft well and truely dusted prior to October.

I'd be sure this would have been brought forward a lot earlier now that Melbourne have made their intentions clear. You'd think that this would have forced Carlton's hand wouldn't you?

the club has been in turmoil for five years and quite frankly im tired of all this shit...
i love the club, but this bullshit has to stop.
sticks should just stay as director..
i like pagan... he came to the club with a pathetic list and has had five years to put the list in place and i reckon he has done a fair job considering in his first two years he could do absolute flower all and get rid of the trash at the same time.
i am seriously tired of all this bullshit... five years on and its the same crap.
yes pagan should get sacked at years end.. but the next coach who will inherit the current list will get all the accolades for the list pagan had to assemble starting off with scraps in his first two years.

thank you pagan for trying.. you have done a great job in my eyes with this pathetic list you inherited.. but round 22 2007 is your last.

I can see where your coming from, but i disagree.................

I have a strong belief in this list. I really do!

Hell i even heard the commentators last week make a special mention (and these are WA commentators mind you, EASILLY the most biased of all the commentator species): "I'm not sure what's wrong with Carlton at the moment, They are a much better team than this."

And i aggree with him.

Fevola & Waite? Are you kidding me? These two, if used properly, could be deadly!

Simpson & Walker on the flanks.

Carrazzo & Scotland are in the top 5 or 10 players for dissposals.

Our list, whilst not brilliant and is in need of topping up, is FAR BETTER than the results we have been getting.

Somebody else made an interesting thread on the main forum about attitude problems and who's too blame.

- Kouta, Lappin, Campo have all had well-documented problems with Pagan.

- Russell, Thornton & for a little while, Fisher all wanted out last season.

- French retired prematurly last season, i wonder why!

- Fevola, Whitnall & Scotland all have disipline problems.

Am i missing anybody?

The point is this.............................if Pagan cannot get the best out of these players than for christ sake find somebody who could!

I liken Pagan to Livo really..................We were always hanging on 'Waiting' for that magic to come, but it never did................and it never will!

Yeah, have to say I kind of agree with that. When you consider ALL the circumstances, Pagan's rebuilding of the list has been passable I guess. The apparent fact that our matchday tactics are still so easily anticipated by our opponents is the worry. Not to mention the annual additions to our "worst ever loss against team X" records.

the list is not the problem (i think there is huge potential in our list)

the problem is, i dont think, and it appears many agree, Pagan will not get that list to reach their potential.

we can play some exciting footy when it goes our way, that month wasnt a fluke, the problem is we have no fall back.

there is no plan b,c,d or e

there is plan a and if it doesnt work, we lose, and lose badly

and that blame falls directly at the coach

To the 3 who have voted for Pagan on this poll could you please explain how you honestly think there is no better man for the coaching job at Carlton and on what results you have based this opinion on. I am intrigued to hear your responses.

Ok thanks Dane. I'm assuming these are relatives of Dennis?

You could say they have a certain relationship with each other.

I haven't voted yet, and I'm certainly not ready yet to put the knife in to DP- but I'm sure Collingwood fans would have had Malthouse in a similar dog-house not too long ago...now look at the Pies.

What value a decent playing list with a good blend of seniors and youth?
