No Carlos can not come in to the team unless we place someone on the long term injury list.

I don't know if the camera caught it, but the wrestle was caused by Fev being frustrated and swinging his arm after the ball had gone. I was too far away to see if he connected, but if he did and a camera caught it he could get even longer.

dont worry guys - fev wont go.

if the club has any concept they will highlite the fact that he was in a haed lock.

It has been proven that when someone is in a headlock and cant see, which is clearly the case, then they will panic and do whatever to try and free themselves from the headlock.

Remember when you where yougn and you used to wrestle with yoru borther etc and they had you in a headlock. You panicked, its a natural response to such a thing.

he will go for wrestling which should lead to fine but there is nothing in the gouge, some of us need to stop looking for a scapegoat

Agree with ThePrez. Grover grabbed Fev's hair and pulled him into a pretty severe headlock. Fev was upside down stuck under Grover's body - anyone's natural instinct would be to reach up for your oppents head to try and push him off and stop him choking you.

Very different to Scotland's hands on the face where Scotland was under no real pressure and knew exactly what he was doing.

Fev should use the "Allo Allo" defence

You Stewpid Womin! Ai was juz checking his contact lenz was still in place!

The other thing, unlike Scotland, you don't actually see him make contact with the eye on the footage. Perhaps Grover, if he said "nah, I just grazed it on the grass".... Fev would have to be given a light one?

TT,

The footage on Fox was pretty clear - directed at the eye, or eye socket.

No, he reaches around and Grover turns his face from the camera.

Its pretty obvious what he's doing, but you don't actually see finger in eye action. Just "strongly implied"

Not only was he in a headlock, his left arm was above and behind his head. There was no way he could see where it was. Like Prez said, when you're in a headlock, it's a natural reaction to try whatever you can to force your way out.

Will be fined for wrestling (as will Grover), and nothing else.

Lyon just showed it and even he was forced to admit it was inconclusive.

Not sure what people think they have seen. When Fev's hand contacts Grovers face it is around the mouth. He will not get weeks.

I think the footage is inconclusive which means the AFL will probably give him 6 weeks. The new tribunal is just as hard to follow as the old one, the only difference is they tell you before you actually go up just how they're going to screw you.

Edit: I also think Stevens won't go up because Bell took a dive. It was clumsy and worth 50m, but Bell went down like he'd been hit with a length of lead pipe.

I think Fev has a lot to answer too. IMO, he knew exactly what he was doing. I'm pretty disappointed in what I saw.
