How nice is it to look at the ladder and see the Blue boys in their rightful place in the top half. Let's hope it stays that way!! As Big Kev would say "I'm excited!!!"

Brisbane
St Kilda
Essendon*
W Bulldogs
Carlton
Port Adelaide
Collingwood
West Coast

Sydney
Kangaroos
Fremantle
Richmond
Geelong
Adelaide
Melbourne
Hawthorn

Pfft.

I'd much rather see the ladder thus:

1. Carlton

2-16. WHO CARES

Now someone can correct me if I'm wrong but my research suggests we haven't been as high as 4th on the ladder since Rd 8 2001.......

Good times!!

Nic

I was wondering that myself earlier in the week, although I was thinking more along the line of: when was the last time Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon* were all in the eight at the same time?

We've started every year third on the ladder since Adelaide joined the AFL!! Sensibly, though, this is the only answer I don't have :(

The closest we came to this was R16 last year when we drew with the scum and the filth won against the Weagles .. but before that it was R11 2004

Coll 14-9-93 West C 11-9-75 @the Dome
Adel 12-15-87 Carlt 14-7-91 @AAMI and
Hawth 12-8-80 Ess 24-10-154 @the G

and before that it was R14 2002 ...
Carlt 13-8-86 Rich 12-13-85 @the G
Wstrn B 18-10-118 Ess 17-16-118 Telstra Dome (a draw's as good as a win in my book: at least it's not a loss)
Adel 17-14-116 Coll 21-12-138 @AAMI

then R13 2001
Carlt 23-15-153 Wstrn B 13-14-92 @Princes Park
Ess 18-10-118 Frem 10-12-72 @the Dome and
Adel 14-13-97 Coll 15-9-99 @AAMI

1993 -
1. Scum
2. Carlton
3-7 doesn't matter - look at http://stats.afl.com.au/public/statisti ... 1993.shtml if you really wanna know
8. Filth
