I was at a Optus corporate training session last nite at Optus Oval and after it, we had dinner at the Bistro with several calton players and I happened to sit with Morrell prenda and Kouta. prenda said taht he is out between 1-3 weeks with a slight tear in teh groin area.

Should that website just shut down?

Would explain why he was in the injury group on Tuesday night.

His upper left thigh was strapped at training.
I'd expect him to miss.

And as has been posted before there aren't any 8 week injuries to elevate Setanta. Can clubs push the limits of the rule and elevate players regardless of the time they're out?

I think this is correct -

We can elevate Setanta to take the place of Hartlett, but Hartlett must then be out for 8 weeks after the elevation. Probably would work as Hartlett is unlikely to play seniors this year anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we put him on the injured list he can't play seconds for 8 weeks either.

Correct, Brad.

LTIs, in our situation, would only work if we had elevated Setanta at the time of Adam's injury.

Bit late now I think.

I'd promote Plemming now for Hartlett and dump him at the deep end.

Hartlett can take a bit longer to recover. He's a young kid. Maybe playing VFL reserves is ok?? He'll miss 8... and if he's ready in 6, the extra 2 weeks of conditioning won't hurt.

Plemmo?

The response time is just a bit slow compared to this one.

Does explain a lot so I expect Prenda will miss...oh well such is life.
At least we've seen what we can do with a full list to choose from!(the Whiz cup!)

What's with all the injuries?
Players are dropping like flies at all clubs.
