Did manton play in a premiership???

Yeah, he wa son the bench in 95.

I assumed premiership numbers got retired for at least the number of years equal to the premierships they played in. So if by some miracle we won in 07 then Kouta retired, 43 wouldn't be available until 2010 at the earliest.

number 7 for Zantuck

You're kidding right :?:

If we actually pick up Zantuck (and I hope we don't by the way) there is no way I would want him to have #7.

At this stage the locker room looks likely to read:

Locker 1: Walker
Locker 2: Russell
Locker 3: Murphy
Locker 4: GIBBS
Locker 5: Kennedy
Locker 6: Simmo

........... and you want Zantuck to bunk-up next to these young blokes :o

I don't know the layout of the locker room, but I would give him whatever number keeps him as far away from these guys as possible.

Fantastic News.

I am sure Bryce will wear it with honour, dignity and pride unlike the penultimate incumbent.

@#$%&! me, if you can read that and not get excited about our prospects as a club, then you might as well jump of the bridge, as that brings a smile to my face :-D

Campo (am I allowed to say that?) actually wore 91... it's just that his head was so far up his own arsehole, it looked like 16.

Cain Ackland will wear #11.

Recent trends will see #7 go to Hampson or Grigg - the only way I could see a variation is if one of the exisiting players has been granted a promotion or if the club decides to wait until after the rookie draft - just in case we select Tomi.

Time to restore some prestige in that guernsey.

Hamill pissed on it.

Livo tried his best but just wasn't up to it.

Will be great to see the number four instill some fear in the opposition again.

So knowing we'd get the number one pick and select Gibbs was just one more reason to delist Livingston and make "4" available.
