I echo everybody elses sentiments. It was a smart move driving himself to the hospital.

I hope all goes well and hope to see him back at the helm.

See what a loss to the filth can do to a person

This makes it official. Mrs S and I are a jinx on Carlton and the Doggies.

Best of luck Collo, might be time to start taking it easy.

It's back to Sydney for us tomorrow with our tails between our legs

My best wishes to Collo and family. I once went up to him at a function when he was not busy and he was very nice and friendly. My impression was that behind the surface is a big "softie" with a great passion for the Club.

None of you visit SS at the moment.
Few members there with nothing but disgusting and pathetic things to say about Collo, at the moment.

best wishes on a speedy recovery. Reports say the triple by-pass went well.

I was sitting just a few rows back from Collo yesterday. Noticed that he got up and left about midway through the final quarter, and thought that it wouldn't simply be because by then we'd lost the match. This might have something to do with it.

Get well soon, Collo.

I heard about this. And it was after our loss. Not sure if that is coincidental (sp?) or not.

Get well soon Collo.

Thanks for posting all your well wishes folks, and please, keep them coming. The TalkingCarlton moderators have discussed this and agree that we should pass these well wishes on to Ian Collins, via the club.

So, at around midday tomorrow I will compile a list of the thoughts of you all and forward an email to the club with copies of the posts put into a Word file for ease of transmission.

Please note, any incidental text in posts may be edited to keep the messages to the point.

Thanks all, and we're right behind you Collo.
