Gee, with Johnson in it may be that Kouta really IS playing at CHB on A Rocca. Anyway, nice to see BJ get rewarded for his work in the VFL

Really feel for Simmo - didn't do anything wrong. At least he'll get some game time.

Would really have liked Chambers to have come in, and Livo for that matter. Feel for Simpson, he needs game time in the seniors too if he's to make a name for himself.

This will be a tough game and we'll need to be on our guard to win this one.

Thanks for the lists sticksaftersiren87. :D

Anyone know if Chambers was fit and available for selection?

I am pretty sure chambers is still injured
i think it is a calf that he got in the wiz cup final
when i spoke to him at the family day he said it was just a corky and that it looked worse than it was but obviously alot worse than either they realised or he was going to let on probably a bit of both

Interesting to see Collingwood has droppoed pretty much their only guy capable of hitting a target (Lonie).

I am glad to see Johnson getting another shot. We really need in and unders and can't expect Kouta to get every clearance.

Obviously Livo still doubtful. I think Diggers will have his hands full on Anthony Rocca.

Neither Kouta or Diggers can go with Tarrant on a lead. Be interesting what Denis pulls out of his hat.

Hope he goes for Karl on Tarrant.

Thought that Teague didnt go to well against Soloman last week when he led up the ground. If he takes the third best fwd (if Digby takes Rocca) it will hopefully allow him to drop off his man and double team the big fella - thats when Teagy's at his best. Look for Prenda or Barnaby to fill the hole also.

Bloody hell if another Rocca kills us this week i will crack it

Reckon Karl is an absolute monty to play on Tarrant. These are the sort of guys Karl has to play on AND beat if he is to cement his place in the side.Reckon Karl is a tad clumsy in marking contests, but he can go with Tarrant on the long leads up the ground. If Karl can disposses him upfield he could become a good springboard for us.Bad luck Simmo but good for you Johno. You have more than earnt your spot.Reward for hard work once again.Simmo is probably a better long term prospect, but the time is now and Johno is ideal to go with Licuria and O Bree.

Wojee, there was an article in one of the papers today about Tarrant. Apparently, he has a knee problem which has not settled. He had an arthroscopy which was supposed to fix it, but it flared up. It is supposed to be the type of injury which will see him go under the knife as soon as they concede that they won't make the finals. He finds it difficult to jump for marks, and it might restrict his pace. To add to his woes, he got a knock during the game last week.

Now you wouldn't want to bet your house on him having a bad game, but the selection of an opponent may be a lot easier than it would be if he was 100% fit.

I think only Karl would be able to match Karl on a lead or in the air so Id stick him on Tarrant. Hopefully our midfield dominates otherwise Rocca and Tarrant might have field days.

Put simply, if Tarrant leads long and wide, it doesn't matter who you put on him. The next kick is the most important - cover that and Tarrant will find himself with nowhere to kick to.

If Tarrant leads up the corridor, different story, but no-one can go with him on a lead. You have to play in front of him, 10-15m in front so that you can cover his leads and if he has to lead, make him lead wide.
