After attending the game and watching the replay twice on Fox. BMjnr wandered past and says

'Don't know why you are so happy Dad, after all we only beat a bottom 4 side.'................But then it is Essendon*.'

Because it's Essendon*, and we gave them a delightful whiff of victory before snatching it away from them, so the scum have something to bleed about for the next week.

Aaaaaah, footy...

George, don't forget we did them by less than a goal too, so they had hope right to the final siren.....

Which is why I was sort of bizzarely hoping Bradley kicked that goal to get them within 4 points.

I thought it will be all the sweeter once the siren sounds.

I am happy because we played like shit for nearly 3 quarters and beat Essendon*. How many times have we been able to say that over the last few years  Will be wasted if we cant beat Poowood this week. Lets add to their misery and rip them a new one after McLeod, Goodwin, Riccuito belt their already hapless slow overrated joke of a midfield.

BMJnr is pretty sharp recognising a bottom 4 team when he sees one

Beating Essendon* by less than a goal is the dream of any Carlton footballer or supporter... That's why we rate the 1999 Prelim (a year in which we were not Premier) higher than the 1995 GF (when we last were)... Not saying we played better, but how many times have we watched each game... I bet 1999 ranks higher even though we've had longer to savour 1995...

This is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard.

The more the better they say - that way the excuses from their supporters sound even more feeble and delusional.

Pump them by a ton is always my hope with Essenscum.

Cause its Essendon*, and the monkey is getting bigger not smaller.

And cause we were missing two key defenders, and a starting midfielder and it barely made a difference (or wouldn't have if we'd kicked even vaugly straight for the first three quarters)

And cause last season when we played 1 quarter of football we had this tendancy to lose by 100. This season we still fall over the line.

Having said all that we really need to start putting bottom four sides away by 6-8 goals though. My gut feeling is that this season percentage is going to matter come September.

Okay then, I gave you all a lot of time to do it, but I'll do it myself. I think BMjnr needs a huge pat on the back for so confidently declaring the Bumbers a bottom four side.

:D

Well done fella!
