Houla may benefit from a week off to recover from his injured knee but I don't think a game in the bullants is what he needs.

Davies (not Davis) has kicked 1/3 the last two weeks, to get 4 shots on goal from a FP is a good effort, no need to be dropping him, his accuracy will come around...if he kicks 3.1 you're not complaining.

Waite is fine also...geezus!!! He isn't a CHF

I agree that Houla needs a week off, was clearly limping and hasn't been himself. This is not a knock on him, credit to him for getting out there when he isn't fit. Give him a week's rest against another bottom 4 side. Loved the hit on Monfries I think...Houla has clearly shred the soft tag. Thats a week's rest btw, not a week withthe Bullants.

Changes, Chambers and Livo in...I don't know who for...dropping Simo would be wrong. Houla and maybe Morrel, although I'd like him around to play on Rocca if needed.

Davies will have some serious competition for his spot when T-Lo is fit, but for the moment he's probably safe.

Agree that Livo is a given, if he's fit. Chambers too, as our midfield rotations have been suffering these last two weeks.

If it's a fine day, collingwood might try to unsettle us by playing a tall forward line - maybe the middle Cloke in for them? Lucky for us Fraser's injured, because I can't see who we'd match up on him atm if he was available.

As for Simmo, Pagan has a long history of making players earn their spot in the ones over a number of years, but it is frustrating to see him get so little gametime.

One worry is our reliance on Kouta. He's been incredible these last two weeks, but if he's not extracting the ball then who is? Against Collingwood, perhaps Johnson's lack of pace wouldn't be exposed and he'd be worth throwing into the mix. Particularly at the G.

Bowyer in, just to smash that little turd Holland at the first centre bounce. That'd be nice.

Walker? Not sure his form warrants an immediate return to the seniors. If Chambers is fit, then Walks might miss out again.

For those doubting Davis.

WATCH the last quarter closely and see his body pressure, and desperation in crucial times and then come on the site and tell us what you think.

Seriously those things he did just dont appear on the stat sheet.

Give him a break. I agree though he needs to work on his goal kicking.

I can't wait to see Kouta this week! He's always been very dominating Vs the bombers and the Pies.

Chambers, Walker, Livo in

Wiggins, Simpson, Prendergast out.

Davies being dropped?!!! - His efforts in the 4th qtr Friday night were superb! His attack on the footy and desperation helped give us the win NO QUESTION!!!

Wiggo being dropped?!!! Has really improved his game. That mark running back with the flight of the ball 4th quarter was terrific!

Houlihan is an interesting one though. Has not shown good form and if not 100%, than should be left out against the Pies.

In's: Possibly, Livo, Chambers, Johnson, Walker, Bowyer.
Out: Well, I'll leave that to Denis! :)

Where Oh where are the MODS???

Last Year Fev kicks 5 ...we win It's stevo that kicks it to him properly. This year FEV takes a great player to stop him... contests well and Lance kicks em...we win. Again Stevo drills the ball forward.

In fact Stevo drills the ball forward almost every time we score.

You have got me thinking dodo.Waite always puzzles me for some reason as well. You know he has got plenty, but he always seems to do the ridiculous at the most inopurtune times.Reckon its patience this guy needs.None of our young guys are overnight sensations. They all seem to slowly but surely improve.Reckon Waite, with his height, pace, and mobility will eventually be a big plus for us.

Why on earth would we drop Prenda ??

One of our best in R1 and had a decent game against the bombers - so versatile for us, makes no sense to drop him.

Chambers in - Simpson out
Walker/Bannister in - Sporn out
Livo in - Morell / Norman out

Davies is safe , Wiggo is safe, Betts is safe, Carrazzo is safe, Prenda is safe

I too saw Houla pretty sore and limping - Chambers must come back in and straight swap for Houla. Davies needs to stay, works very hard off the ball and uses great physical pressure when they have the ball. Just needs to tidy up the kicking - his first shot in the 1st quarter was woeful - does not kick through the ball and has no confidence. Hard work and perserverance is all it needs.
Very promising times and as Dennis said, we must apply and sustain pressure through the midfield when they have the ball.
Keep the faith it will happen!

Chambers should come in and have prioity over walker.

walker can have a few runs in the vfl and earn his spot like everyone else.

chambers form in the wizard cup should be enough to warrant selection, if fit.

not sure i like the idea of morrell be dropped, but livo needs to come in.

no point simpson playing if he's on the bench for over 100 mins.

give him a full game in the VFL.

Ins: Chambers, Livingston
Outs: Houlihan (rested) Simpson (omitted)
