I cannot handle losing to Essendon* - they are the one team that losing to always makes me feel sick. Yes, I even find a Collingwood loss easier to take.

Some reasons for my pathological despision of Essendon*:

 1993 draw, with Stick OOB after the siren, and Essendon* lap of honour after the game.

 1993 GF (Silvagni touched it!).

 Kevin Sheedy - a more overrated, overhyped smarmy wanker of a coach has never lived. Given the talkent he's had at windy hill over the past 25 years, he has seriously underachieved.

 Darren Bewick

 Michael Long

 Dustin Fletcher

 Matthew Allan

We cannot lose to these scumbags tonight. To ensure a good weekend, I need a Carlton victory. Come on you Blues!!

Deano - you forgot the most important - their hyped up foul mouthed whinging wind bag supporters :!:

Must win game for all us supporters.

Then there's the friend of the camel's who's relationship with us soured after mrs camel pipped her by one point to win my old work's tipping comp in the last round of the year. Yep, she's an Essendon* supporter.

Let's not forget my sister-in-law's wedding in 1999. Yes, on preliminary final day. Yes, she's an Essendon* supporter. And, no, the marriage didn't last!

GO BLUES!!!

I know someone whose Mum is a Carlton supporter, and Dad is a Bummers guy. They didn't speak for a week after the 99 PF.

Oh and then there was those 6 fabulous months I spent working in Essendon* in 1994. Truly great people.

Then there's Tony Buhagiarse...and Jason Johnson's knee...and Gary Moorcroft...and, and, and...

That game at the MCG - can't remember the year - when we lost it on the kickout.

Wanganeen stealing Diesel's brownlow.

Long stealing Kernahan's Norm Smith.

Oh, I met Taff last night, he was in town from Beijing, he has a great Essendon* story to tell.

He'll be at the game tonight too, before heading back to China on Sunday ... so the boys have got to win for Taff! :D

I know this isn't in the spirit of this thread, but I get so much work done if we're playing on a Friday night. I just want the day to go quick so I work really hard, and it flys by, and when it's time to knock off the excitement is unbearable.

That said, if we lose to Essendon* tonight, all that hard work will be for nothing.

Dunnybrush Denham would have to be my most hated Essendon* player.

Another couple, for no other reason thatn they were over hyped...never caused any damage to us...

David Calthorpe
Ricky Olarenshaw

i remember we lost a game to them at Waverley in 1994 (i think)... We kicked 7.20.62 to 9.9.63....that hack Barry Young got a holding the man decision after he threw the ball in front when he got a bit of Physical contact, that ended in the winning goal to them....if my memory serves me correct, this wasnt the only time during the game that a bad decision went against us.

On the way home belted the Scum supporter mate i went to the game with....so it wasnt a wasted day...

Paul Barnard.
The aforementioned Moorcroft.
Their smug supporters with their bandwagon comprising 90% teenage girls in love with Lloyd and that other tosser who's brother plays for Sydney, can't think of his name.

So many reasons to hate the Bombres (Their cheersquad are dullards too :D)
