I'm sure all here are aware of this, but the media and opposing supporters will have a field day with us if we can't beat am weak Essendon* team. They will stick it to us BIG TIME.

I know how everyone feels about losing to the Roos - It hurt, but we aren't getting too worried, hoping it's just a minor blip, you know, the loss we had to have.

A loss against the Don's will hurt very, very hard, and we all know it.

I was at the Wizard Cup game against the Dons - we weren't that good, but still won by 6 goals. They are slow and spineless, but Sheedy is a master of the craft, and Hird a matchwinner.

They will be fired up big-time.

We must destroy them. Or we'll cop it. And we'll all look like flower for talking up finals and how good we are for winning the Wizard Cup.

I hope we win.

Who? Me? :P

I can't believe you're playing them again so soon. I have to psych myself up to be cheering on the likes of those horrible Essendon* players again. I'm starting to feel dirty already....

I don't think we talked up the Wizard Cup, we took it for what it was.
If both teams play a great game this weekend and we lose, we don't look like flower. As for the media who gives a FF what they say?
If we play shithouse and lose, maybe ask some questions.
12 months ago Geelong copped a schlacking from us and went on to bigger and better things.
Don't sharpen the knives just yet.
Regards Pedro.

Wizard cup effort will be totally unwound if we lose.
BTW when was the last time we went into a game against Essendon* as the favourite???

Bananaby really should squash their rookie ruckman. If our midfield can't get on top there will be serious questions needing to be asked.

Port got off to an ordinary start last year so its a bit early to hit the panic button IMHO. The wizzer cup hangover was evident last week and a few players were in the comfort zone...I think players like Wiggins, Simpson, Norman etc may be extra keen to cement their spots and this will lift the standard of the others.
Losing Thornton and Livo getting injured has unbalanced us but maybe could be the making of Karl Norman as he gets his chance to prove himself....another bad boy in Ty Zantuck is also having his first taste of senior footy this year..interested to see how he goes and where he plays....
