Knives should always be sharp.. and be ready to use.

No excuses losing to Stilda. if the team and supporters are worried about StKilda at present lets shut shop!!!

Just go out there and systematically dismember that shit club!!!
We turned the corner against them 3 years ago when Yarran and Gaarlett ran amok.
Next time we played them we should have stomped on them but Ratten thought he should be taking the foot off cos we were playing finals :screwy:
So last year even though we were shit and they were shit we let them in ... with some sloppy footy.

That cub is crap.. we should smash them .. and knocked them back into the eighties where they belong and we belong ... so its exacty what i wanna see ... 100 points with an 11 goal third quarter!!!... and from this point on make them shit and pee themselves every time they play us.

Seriously.. if youve been watching them theyre really terrible!!!....

Agree with you entirely, I just lack confidence in our mental state as we seem to get ahead of ourselves every single time an opportunity presents.

I will be a hell of a lot more confident if we come out and smash them, if we lose then I will continue to have the same negative approach the next time around because it's all based on our trends.

Beating them isnt enough anyway (when was the last time we won 5 in a row?), but it's a start.

Lack of confidence in our mental state
is like a weird oxymoron.....

But hey this club needs to be able to snap out of that...

I was disappointed about the Demons game and didnt see much so far ill watch it tonight.

Celebrating Orthodox Easter yesterday.....

But my guess is we were ok ... nothing special.. and we beat a shit Melbourne footy club.

thats NOT what i want to see.. i want us to IMPOSE ourselves on these crappy teams....
Win the first... and then build 20 points each quarter.... i want us suffocatng them and just demoralising them.

After this crappy fixture run of shit teams we will play one that will not be pathetic.

So its not a matter of playing ok and winning.. i want us to lift the bar

In football there is nothing like momentum.
Not just in wins but how you play to standards you set

Remember Montagna going the bump on Curnow's injured shoulder a few years back? Then idiot Kosi did the same but the wrong shoulder

I assume Gibbs and Kreuzer will miss another week.

I think we will win this one but it will be ugly.

Rnds 10 to 13 in 2011.

We also did it in 2009.

5 in a row is another story, which dates back to the Kouta hot streak of Rnds 6 - 18 2000.

Good work Blueboy74.

When Carlton won 4 in a row in 2009, it was the first time we'd done it since 2004:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... 09+Fixture

We then followed up in 2011:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... 11+Fixture

We haven't won 5 in a row for over a decade.

Couldn't agree more, this has 'upset' written all over it. Such a litmus test game for this group.

This flower have been very honest and competive against top 4 teams without winning, they will see this as very winnable against a team they have regularly beaten.

We haven't gone anywehere in 2013 until we can beat them, Roos and at least give Hawks a good run.

Over to you MM.

imo, we have a rucking dilemma.

Warnock has done everything you could want in the ruck. Krueze can't can't play up forward, he's calamitous whenever he tries.

I'd be picking 206 ahead of Kreuzer at this point. Hampson up front is serviceable. He looked good before his op, and yesterday he looked good again. Either way, Hammer or Casboult at FF is > Kruezer's best day up front.

Thanks Mrs Hampson. We all think your son is ace.

Kreuzer's work up forward & Warnock's work around the ground are both underrated IMO

I never take this mob easy. They might be 1-5 but they're highly competitive and a danger to every team they play. Should win but take them seriously.

This time 12 months ago we were playing them for top spot on the ladder. How things changed!

Waite and Casboult in the key positions, Casboult's playing well in the NBs so it's time to play genuine forwards in the key role, not cheating there with ruckmen. Rarely works. Keep Warnock and Kreuzer focusing on ruck duties with the latter having a run as the old style ruck-rover at times.

Probably the best option. Personally I'd like to see us go with Warnock supported by Casboult. Gives an extra mid and that is vital these days. Warnock's ruckwork at the weekend was fantastic. He is miles ahead of anything else we have.

Having said that Kruezer will play when fit so it will be interesting when ready. I actually rate Rowe as a half decent ruckman. His body work is very good.

Hampson was marking against midgets one on one with no pressure. No value at all. In big games against team defence he will struggle.

I don't agree with much of what Synbad says, but when I do, I +1.

If we think we're any good at all this season, no excuses in not being St Kilda. They're down the depths where they've spent most of their history.

But gee, I'd love Nick Reiwoldt in our forward line.

It might happen, but like the time Fev was in St Kilda's forward line I wouldn't expect it to be very successful.

Synbad,

Give the boys a break occasionally. This is hardly a lay down mizzare for a win. I admit the Saints are on the wane but we consistently lose to them. They are playing well and this is like their grand final. They will be "on". I agree if we are improving we should win but don't expect more than a couple of goals and I would be suprised if we didn't lose one of the next four games? What I would like form you and effes and all the naysayers is a bit of positive feedback should we beat St Kilda

Oh so the excuses to lose or be pushed by this st kilda team are being brought out in case,
Nice!
So tell me who their midfield is this year?
Who their defenders are this year?
Who their forwards are this year?

If we don't slaughter them were crap and let's just give up worrying about being even OK.
Bring back ratten and don't worry about football

Do we ever draw any line in the sand art this club?
Can't smash this current st kilda team?
It's so ratten and his partial line in the sand bullshit!

We are talking about a st kilda that's sliding into the bowels of mediocrity... Are we going to keep them company?

I'm not sure what you blokes Watch when you watch stkilda.

I see guys over the hill. Injuries. Holes. Recycled hacks and kids who don't show enough to suggest they belong anywhere near top ten.

Just @#$%&! smash shit clubs like this!

There are no excuses to not tap dance on their lifeless bodies.

This is a game our players if they had any pride and ambition would cherish to be part of.
Tables have turned and it should be a decade of domination and bitch slaps to that club by any player we have lucky enough to honor or team to be playing this week.

This is the crap side that delighted in smashing us for a decade--- note they're shit and we want to make our mark.

Start here Carlton if we're fair ducking dinkum!

No excuses!

Watch their skill level and see ffor yourselves.

Kill them!
