cimm1979 is on the money, i think kennedy is so overated, he hasnt done much compared to judd in the last 5 years and even this year i would still take judd, if we had a decent chf or waite played over 8 games it would be very different

Ahhh if only its only about the last 5 years ......but last year juddy wasnt much ... so its 4 years.... if only it WAS a bout those FOUR years.

I hope its a lesson to us about selling the farm for a messiah

Judds mere presence on and off the field probably saved this club that was close to going under.

yeah good news.
bad news is the report said were gunna go after daisy

1. It's the media. We're going to be linked to every Collingwood player going out of contract for years now that we have Mick. Accept it.
2. A proven All Australian player who's the same age of our best players. Why is that a bad thing?

Very well said Andain. I could not agree more. It's not only what he did on the field it's also what he did off the field. I'd even go as far as saying Murph and Gibbs may not have stayed at the club if it wasn't for Juddy.

IF we have the cap space, and IF there is no star midfielder or key forward available, you'd definitely look closely at paying overs for a quality player that cost no players or picks.

Having all of Gibbs, Walker and Thomas to rotate through all the lines would be too much to cover. We need to replace Scotland and Simpson...

But yes, our clear need apart from a really good KPF is a pure midfielder with grunt and class. As Judd's output diminishes, we're relying on Robbo, Bell, Curnow, Cachia, Ellard etc. None of them are likely to become better than B- players.

Yep, what a guy. We're truly blessed to have him on board again, and that unlike last year we'll have some coin to be active players in the FA/Trade period.

I had Sky Channel on in the background whilst beavering away here and spied Judd's nude nut on the screen walking through the car park of Prinnie Park. They just reported that He could be on only 500K next year. Also mentioned that we are into Daisy in a big way.

I think any club with room in the cap would be silly not to look into getting Daisy Thomas. A key forward is the priority but you can never have too many quality midfielders.

Also remember Geelong had the issue for years looking for a key forward and often recruited 3rd rate KPPs in the hope of them morphing into what they wanted. They ended up going ok with Mooney as the main man for a while.

Ecstatic. He's a @#$%&! champion of the club - and of course the game. Hopefully he can work improve in his marking and forward line work and continue on for at least another.
