On the AFL website under the Final Teams thread Murphy's Walker's and Scotland's milestones are admired...I mean mentioned.

I guess his mates and relatives who would attend the milestone would know if he was plying or not and you'd expect some sneaky leakers amongst them.

GREAT to see Menzel's name.

I reckon we're a better team with Waite in and Hampson Casboult and Rowe out.
I think we're right in the big man dept, except I'd prefer a fit Laidler in lace of White.
Warnock 1 st ruck and Kreuzer develops a new role/ style...and he will.

Bell in the guts hopefully 4 quarters (please)...usually sub
Menzel first game..should be sub...didn't have a preseason
Bootsma also coming in and he's been sub in the past or subbed out
Cachia...has been the sub for last 2 weeks.

Expecting Menzel as sub to come in as a burst player.

I hope Jamison is right....for the rest of the year...shits me hes in the condition he was in 3 years ago.

The boys will not let the boys with the milestones down.
But amongst this mob anything can happen.

Waite is a flower but he doesn't force the selectors to be stupid.

I like the balance of the team this week and excited about Menzel.

My guess is Walks will play as a mid and either Boots or AJ down back for him. His class and run would be very handy in there.

Any margin for us will do me.

I'm looking forward to Menzel playing more than anything else in this game.
He's the first real elite talent we've drafted for a while, probably since Yarran.
I hope really hope he starts on the field.
I hate it when a new player debuts and you only see 10 minutes of them.
He's played plenty of footy at senior level, he'll be fine.
Let's see what he can do!

I think we will win but not as confident as the odds suggest.
I would have thought we'd be a $1.60 - $1.70 ish favourite.

Don't get sucked in to all the hype about Port.
They're much improved but they've had an easy run so far. I don't think they'll be able to keep it up.
That said, if the wrong Carlton turns up, we could lose to just about anyone.
And don't underestimate the difference Waite makes to our structure. We're a completely different team with him.
I think we should be playing Levi alongside Waite. I reckon he will develop best this way.
To me Levi is the only guy we've got other than Waite capable of becoming a long term AFL standard key forward.
(The other option is Hendo forward someone else back)
