Mick proves once again it is all about him..... These 2 weeks have nothing to do with him. These two weeks are about the club planning the way forward without him
Spot on.
Anyone who thought Mick would go out without looking after his own best interests is kidding themselves.
He showed the same ego driven petulance at the Pies in 2011 and this was never going to be any different.
Full of shit as usual.
Adelaide had Eddie Betts stitched up 18 months out? Eddie was a restricted free agent. Carlton just had to match Adelaides bid and he stayed. Simple.
Mick stating he doesn't like to make excuses. This comment after he's just told us all about the injuries at the club.
Lets remember, this bloke was happy to accept the job after Brett Ratten was treated exactly the same.
One went out with dignity. The other went out as a shit bloke.
No surprise to me. It was just a matter of time before he carried on like this.
Absolutely right BV it always is/was about Mick.
No concessions from him that he has been around for 3 draft/cleanout sessions ( I am including his first year when he shot through for 6 weeks promoting his book) In that period well in excess of 50% of the list has changed. The "cattle" are now largely of his making!
No concession that his game plan has resulted in some of our worst losses and what is particularly galling is that he cannot come up with a plan B!
He talks about " his boys " being with him but he struggle to get 30 tackles a week out of them!
The bloke was toxic from the start and Blind Freddy could see that there was no cultural fit.
Don"t let the door hit you on the way out!!!!!!!
