in the medico's defence, curnow has broken his leg before so you'd think he knows what it feels like. he wouldn't have come back on had he felt like he'd broken his leg again.
The commentators were talking about the risk of internal injury as the main concern , after seeing the replay.
That doesn't really tally with a broken leg.
Maybe Ed thought he just had a sore calf and wanted to run it out
