I find that odd

I was right.

When we get ahead of ourselves we tend to play like millionaires. Walks pulled it off, good for him, but that attitude didn't really work for us in the long run.

Walker looked for the handball but Garlett didn't peel off.

I'd hardly call a HBFer running the ball to the top of the 50 selfish.

Same, the first Carlton player I can remember idolising.

Same. I distinctly remember saying things along the lines of "Who is this new guy wearing Buzza's number 4 anyway? He'll never be as good as Bosustow."

Imagine if Mick McGuane did something similar around Easter Monday!

Divine intervention?

That '81 double is the reason I support the Blues.

Cheers Buzz, you paved the way for many an afternoon playing 'speccies' with dad in the back yard.

Do we not include Yazz's goal because, deep down, we all know it was out of bounds??

Walker cut that field like butter. Not an easy feat and a fantastic goal.

I was on the opposite wing to Bradley the day he kicked his goal.

Remember he kicked the banana from the best part of 50mtrs when very few players could even kick bananas. And when he took off with the ball he ran past Peter Matera like he was a statue. Matera probably the fastest and certainly one of the very best in the then VFL.

My personal rank is Braddles 9.5/10, Walks 8/10.

IIRC Bradley kicked an almost identical goal a few weeks later.

SImilar to this one he kicked in a final against Collingwood, albeit not as far out (but in a final, against Collingwood).

Ah, remember it well - I noticed SOS was playing forward at that time (he'd be handy in our team atm)

Re Buzz, I was shattered when he left, I reckon his leaving when he did cost us at least two flags. Also, every summer
there would always be stories about him coming 'home' - sadly never happened (he'd be handy in our team atm)

I share a birthday with the Buzz. Imagine my surprise on my 10th birthday to open an envelope that arrived in the mail containing a hand written and signed birthday card from the Buzz, along with a photo. My parents had written to him via the club, and he had obliged.

That's awesome!

Have a feeling Bradley may have kicked a goal with 5 bounces down the wing in the semi-final in 1993 too

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... al%2C+1993

Blueseum says he kicked 5 in total (matches my memory) and 3 in the 3rd quarter.

Anyone remember the goal I'm thinking of?
