Absolute ball magnet. Part of the midfield rotation for mine. Being part of the midfield rotation means he will spend time forward, as Judd, Murphy, Gibbs etc will, but i'd have Carazzo playing mainly in the middle. He's gonna have free rein every week. He wont get tagged all year. To me this means he's good for 20+ possessions every game, and his disposal is now damaging enough that 20+ is very valuable. I think it was against Freo at Subi this year where he seemed to have a free run to do whatever he wanted. He racked up about 30 possies and pushed forward in the last quarter to kick a crucial goal or 2. If i had to choose a 5th mid behind Judd, Mclean, Murphy and Gibbs, i think Carazzo would find more of the footy and be more damaging than any of Hadley, Scotland, Houlihan etc, while Simpson & Walker are more flanker / wingmen types (damaging runners, but not as likely to find the footy 30 times in a game).
..agree with this too actually, he's not given anywhere near enough credit as a mid, and with the 'star' names in our mid group, he'll be the forgotton one.. .... ..also, would love to see them play Gibbs as a HFF for the majority, just think he'd romp it in across there, as a lead up target and can you imagine the smarts and vision of him kicking into our F50..
