CHRIS Yarran has been ruled out of Carlton's line-up for at least another week, while Andrew Carrazzo and Bryce Gibbs face fitness tests before the Blues' clash with the reinvigorated Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Saturday night.

In better news for Blues fans, Jarrad Waite was not named on the club's injury list after being curiously substituted at three-quarter time during his side's win over Port Adelaide on Sunday.

I think bringing back 3 players from injury in the one week might have been a bit much against an apparently physical opponent, however I can imagine bringing back Yazz against GWS the week after and thus getting some match fitness/prep for the peptides game the following week. id reckon 1 will come back this week, (probably gibbs) the the other 2 will be back in the GWS game.

Bu t i reckon they'll rest Judd in the GWS game

3rd game in 12 days + travel factor.

I reckon we'll need to be well in front at 3/4 time...

Ditto

AS Surrey points out the article on Lucas "Sweet Run" for Sugar it seems he's the project this year.
I'm hoping he works out. He got speed; good speed. ATM he doesn't seems to show a lot of heart iand value for the physical contest, and I guess they're the things he is quoted saying he's working on.

Jury is still out on Lucas. He's Project fingers crossed and potential.

Bootsma showed his stuff last week. So did Cachia and imo the little I saw of Menzel showed desire and if he's got talent by the spades then it would be good to see him play a half ....maybe he might fire up and put pressure on Betts and Yarran and others. Bell showed his stuff, and I don't need convincing with Bell.

Its either the kids who make way for Gibbs and Carrazzo or they don't come in, like Ryder endured.

It would have to be last in: Menzel and Bootsma....................or Simpson and Brock

I want everyone whose fit available for selection. I dont want us to take Lions lightly.
I'm already coping shit from Qld bases Lions supporters (a mix of Melbournians and local).
My nephew plays for the Lions and he tore us a new one in the NAB cup so glad he's not playing (sorta).
I really want to smash them.

I'm sick of getting beaten up by Brown.

WE MUST WIN, and not stop WINNING. I hate being out of the 8.

Win this and we will be in the 8.

Win this and we might be only 1 game behind Bombers and Swans.

Win this and we build for Bombers and Hawks games before the week's break.

Momentum.

Been saying to MW all year that they have aviation pioneer haircuts.

im not even talki ng a bout dropping him surrey...noone to bring in from the ressies.. there is no real heat on competition for midfielders at this club

im talking trading him... and if he survives this year cos noone wants him and he comes back ha ving sand kicked in his face next year and continues to kick those up and unders.. just a straight out delisting...back to peel thunder or wherever we found him

attitudes like his dont make for succesful footy clubs

who said anything about dropping him???...drop him for whom exactly?? duigan/ laidler /mccarthy/ watson/ davies???

We never seem to win these 'must win' games.
