It must be incredibly frustrating to have that in front of you as a player.

I would imagine so, but I don't think any of us would blame him for that on review. There's plenty more errors to be found. He will bottle the ball up without good reason because he demands the football, then doesn't back his disposal to make an impact.

Not a comment on Carrots as such (or a defence of his disposal  ), but more how broken our system was on Saturday. Firstly that we consistently allowed them those 1-2 spares to drop back. During the second quarter when we had it in our half most of the time I was constantly looking back to the middle and our guys were manned up.

Secondly, that the one player we DO leave back is Betts, when we had Hampson, Waite and Lachie on the field. How on Earth do we allow Betts to be the one on three? It was an absolute disaster - there's no way known we should be having three tall forwards on the ground being sucked in to the contest when Betts is left to go one on three. One of them had to have the brains to stay back - if they were on coaches orders to get dragged into a stoppage in the backline then Ratten SHOULD get sacked now.

This is what concerns me - I really don't think we help ourselves at all, and it's part coaching and part players.

CORRECTION: It was Jeffy, not Eddie who stayed back.

Yeah the roll down is regularly over the top.

Just a further point on Carrazzo trying to pick options, he had woes with this against the Gold Coast, which really isn't encouraging.

I will sum this up, no offense to Jordan Russell intended, but when he is our 2nd best player in our BnF, we won't win our 17th premiership. Players like him need to be our 8th-10th best player. I was speaking to a couple pies fans about this and they don't think Jordan Russell would get a game with the Pies. Carlton need a lot more players improving past JR to be a premiership team.

You'd be lucky to find a Collingwood supporter who could fit anyone from another club into their starting lineup such is their view of their own team atm.

Surrey do you think maybe Roos developed a game plan suited to the ground the Swans played at and the list he had?

He wouldn't use the same gameplan with us.

Unfortunately it appears he isn't interested no matter how many $$$ the Pratts throw at him.

He's just not interested in coaching us ... because he despises us. Has done for years. I'm suprised we bothered asking him.

Well, I certainly feel better informed for that. :donk:
