Bower had a complete pre-season, and has missed just 3 weeks of footy with an ankle complaint. He's been training for 2 of them if I'm not mistaken. He's not underdone, it's just a question of whether the swelling is bad after each session.

Yarran seems to take the most of them and he hits up a target nearly everytime

Watson and Tuohy should take most of the "long bomb" kick outs, in particular at Etihad.

Watson took a kickout which landed well into the Centre Square which Waite marked, and resulted in a "coast to coast" goal was excellent.

If Watson cant do anything else he can kick it long and Tuohy isnt far behind.

Would prefer Yarran to be up the ground around half back/wing where he can link up on the back of one of these long bombs.

Its not being ignorant at all but why is it when things turn to shit the blow torch is squarely directed at Ratten and when something is good credit goes to someone else

We started getted smashed at the clearances - ratten accept williams is the stopage coach
The forward line structure falls apart - ratten accept barker is the forward coach
Teams waltz through the middle with no defensive pressure -ratten but Riley is midfeild

As far as I concerned if you take all the crap them you also need to take some credit
