Bondi, I love your way, but I reckon where in trouble if Frampton comes alive.

Where? At the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco as well as Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, California, Long Island Arena in Commack, New York, and the SUNY Plattsburgh campus in Plattsburgh, New York.

I'm guessing you are referring to Moir as being still young. He is, but he's only shown glimpses.

Matty Carroll looked great in the 2024-5 preseason to win his spot back as a rookie. There was nothing wrong with him at HB. People remember him getting caught HTB on the last line in one game. I blamed his team mates. But his delivery from HB by foot hit targets 50m away with the ball barely getting higher than 3 foot off the ground. He was always good. His groins stuffed him up in his first year. Let go for being injured all year. Great player for the mighty Zebras in the U18's winning GF.

Was by accident he was discovered as a wingman during the 2025-6 preseason. He built up his running to the point he made the top 6. We had ample HB's till they fell like flies, and he played wing in the intra club game and he kicked 3 long goals. Got injured before the games vs Bris and Geel and missed ground zero vs Sydney. Then he arrived in Rnd 1 vs Tigers, and the rest is history.

I liked Durdin. He was another injury prone player we let go, but he has stood up week in week out at Port. Go figure. Byrne almost as good as Durdin. Hopefully he will be better.

I thought after the Footscray game he'd be selected for sure to play against Port in his home state.
IMO the MC gifted that game to Fynn Young for the good games he played a few weeks before this game.
I was spewing. That was the game he should have been selected.

Bondi it is Flynn Young and Flynn Riley. They are both Flynns.

Good.

They can't swing him forward and give Derksen Dean and Haynes nightmares.

But Quaynor is back.

I agree, we are both around the same in ability.
But he really doesn't say anything assertive or surprising.
His contention is they have experience and desire to win this game.
Nothing to be upset about. Argues his point whilst he's arguing with himself

Buck always says something then in the same breath says the opposite.

"They are building up this game, and building the pressure
We have players with skeletons in the closet." He Doesn't mention which players have skeletons
"We have mental scars against Pies".

He hasn't seen the team and he says they have an experienced team (Moore and Howe missing)
Not only that, Dean, Florent, hayward, Ainsworth, Byrne, Ison, Derksen, Riley, Smith are first year players.

"He's not expecting us to respond from last week. That's typical"
Says "Experts said we won games because no pressure on us, no expectation".
Says "that is the case, maybe its the case, but typical of us" Which one is it Buck.

"Outside noise questions us, and now we have to deal with it"
"Are we able to overcome this?"
"This is the test"
"We need to win this against a team that knows how to play the big stage against teams like Collingwood."

"Our defense has been good but it is not going to hold up if we don't win the midfield."
"Daicos thrives on this. A Finals atmosphere. Pressure is normal for them."

"They are too mentally strong for us"
"Fraser's priority isnt winning, whereas it is for Collingwood, to play Finals"
"we are still learning"

He's argued his point. They have 12 Premiership players playing. Fair enough.
Hard to argue against that.

More than any game in the last six this is the one we want. We still need revenge for the last game in 2022 where they denied us the chance to play finals. It would be nice if we could return the favour.
