Another must-win.

Well, whilst we don't want to get ahead of ourselves, the fact is this is a golden opportunity to bank 7 in a row.

Key improvement for me - is goal efficiency and being ruthless to bury them please (we really need %%%)

No need for Weiters thanks - give him another week to get better (maybe he needs more, but who knows).

AFAIK, no injury flags out of todays game, so I'm going with no changes at this early stage.

For me it would be Ison out and Williams or Flynn Young in. I was disappointed in Ison today. I just felt he wasn't attacking the contest at 100%. We saw some effort in the last few minutes, with a great chase that forced the ball OOB, but otherwise he was abit meh.

That's it.

That's fair. Ison was a bit down. Maybe he needs a rest from senior level. He has had a good group of 6 games to get the taste. Huge upside IMO, so I expect he would get another opportunity.

I don't know how Zac and/or Flynn did in the ressies today. If I had to a make the call, I'd prefer Flynn, more so to increase his opportunity at senior level. But, I also know Zac has been doing well recently. Probably a 50/50 call.

Ison needs a rest but he’s never lost a game so that’s a big roll of the dice of superstition.

I see Zac didn't play in the VFL today so I presume he must have been AFL emergency.

Anyone know?

Weiters is out until at least another 2 probably 3 weeks - re-tweaked his calf at training on Thursday.

Yes. He needs one more game to create a new undefeated run record to begin a career. Ryan Houlihan holds it at 6. Guessing that is a Carlton record.

I think we want anything that closes the gap between Sydney and the rest.

Which this didn't.

It's up to us now to lose to Hawthorn.

Ison needs a spell in the magoos. Watched the replay and towards end of 1st , florent kicks inside 50 to a pack where Ison is at the back waiting. The ball goes over the back of the pack and even though Ison is in a great position to take it on the chest, he either took his eye off the ball or completely misjudged it and missed it completely. Another play when Cerra kicks to Ison who is 1 on 1 with an eagles opponent. Ison is easily outpositioned by his opponent and the Eagles clear it . The sugar hit from his 1st game has well and truly worn off

Weiters is now looking at a return in R19, so Derkson has a chance to grow some more. He took a couple of nice intercept marks against WCE.

Tipped Port as well. Tanking the season perfectly - losing by close margins and winning showdowns.

My goodness I want to pump these pricks this week. Assuming Nankervis is miraculously fit again as well as Lynch?
