I'd love to know how many free memberships are in that total...

I hope we're not counting them... it may set us up for an embarrassing fall next year

We will be counting them.

Just need to win premiership this year now.

We've past 77,000 before the night we play our Home game at the G vs Filth.

Imagine what happens if/ when we win tonight !!!

80K is looking likely if we win a few on the trot.

Go Blues

Just read that.
It is a bit misleading though as I imagine that includes the free memberships offered to reserved seat members.

Free memberships, pet memberships, all clubs do it now, it's a marketing gimmick of sorts. Better to be at the pointy end I guess.

We've become Hawthorn... without the success

Lots of reasons....and Carlton need more than 2 wins in a row to gain its Members' trust.

Knowing you're likely to lose a game, is a deterrent, coz it may be over in the first quarter, and being a Member feels like you are giving.

Game is easily accessible by other means:

Lounge room
Pubs
Home comfort

I buy Memberships for Home Games, but I cannot remember using my membership to gain entrance.

I usually buy the best seats I can on the day, whether in Melbourne or Interstate games

When there's a few of us, it is easier to just go to the pub or watch it at someone's place when we've want to have a couple, and want to avoid fights with ferals.

Win 5 in a row, and Members may just start to believe they will be entertained.

Crowds are down over the entire league.

Ticketing at least in Melbourne is a pain.

Ticketing is a nightmare. The group I go with is from 4 different households with 3 people over 70. The amount of work to get the Apps onto their phones and communicating to get tickets into their accounts each week has been ridiculous.

Even now that we can use our own seats we still cannot use our membership cards.
Not really sure of the reason behind that.

IF me and the family are heading down and have general admission Carlton memberships do we actually have to redeem them beforehand to get access? - 'cos the ticketeck website only wants to sell you upgraded seats and wont let me redeem general admission.

Kids are gagging to go but its giving me the shits so much I almost cant be flowered.

It can be done. Persevere with it.
We have General Admission memberships as well. We have redeemed our tickets and have seats for the Dawks game.

So they finally released general admission seating and so we managed to book.
The flowers have put us in level 4 in the flowering gods. My kids are devo.
Try finding / ringing ticketek to see if we can change to get to a ground level general admission is a flowering joke.

Is the AFL trying to kill the footy in favour of tele? Because they're doing a @#$%&! good job of it.
I'd seriously wonder why I'd buy memberships when we go to probably one game a year and have to deal with this shit. It'd be easier to buy tickets on the day and not give a stuff about the club., the AFL or ticketek
