Great win imo.

A grinding hard physical win are the best wins - defence was good.

We have many players missing + fitness would have gone through the roof after that game. Bodes well for rest of year, fitness wise.

We are in top 8!

Bring on Port

Ed Curnow probably best player?

Jones and to a lesser extent Weitering if they hadn't butchered the footy.

Dow obviously a bit of a worry - although got better as the game went on. Setterfield also a worry for me - just seems to cruise around...
We let them clear it really easily from the kick outs and struggled in the centre despite Pitto's dominance.
Backline generally good - Jones, Doc, Weiters, SPS. Plow was fine, Saad was hot and cold Parks did a bit but was largely unsighted after that one tackle.
We have got to learn to kick straight - Game plan would look fantastic if the forwards converted.

Kennedy must play from here on with Setterfield surely under the pump.
At least Dow put his body and head over the ball in the 2nd half but Setterfield is a big worry.
He just had no effort to attack the player and he's just another player who we've stuffed up his development.
Teague is still showing too much reliance on our 30+ year olds

Ground out a win.
That's all I can take from this game where the standard across the whole team was O_o

Dow is done.

You know you're struggling when your old stagers keep you in it and your only good players over 4 quarters are defenders. But hey we won.

Setterfield is a blouse. Hates true contact. Don't like.

The only positive outside of the win was SPS.

thought Eddie B was good - but he has got to stop trying for the speccy and stay on the ground where he is far more dangerous. I thought Murphy's 2 goals were pretty good in the circumstances - good output for a small forward
Agree about Kennedy - swap with Setterfield?
Fisher and Martin would have been handy tonight!

4 points and move on.

McKay needs to remember no matter how dirty your day you can still impact the result
