Consider my desire expressed in wanting to be the Tom Landry on the sidelines, ringing the mastermind changes, peeling oranges, pouring Gatorade, delivering great halftime addresses.

Good to see a few blokes are having a bit of a kick/training run as preparation for the game.

Mate, doesn't matter how we're looking on paper.

You've got the supercoach.

Look at what Paul Roos did with Lewis Roberts Thomson, and that's nothing compared to what I'll do with........with...........shit, with me out, that leaves nothing to really work my magic with. Ahh well, someone shit will turn up on the day unexpectedly.

I just hope I've got a bench to work with :P

Cheers, Clint, but I reckon you earned your spot. Hopefully with the sort of numbers and talent being touted here, we can actually get a solid rotation going through the middle.

Haven't put a side together yet, Clint.

Probably won't change the side that much from the one we had against St.Kilda. However, the Shag is a 70/30 chance of playing as well as filling other possies Ruck, CHF, CHB. Reckon I might put myself at CHB and stay there. Worked well last time when Clint implemented that tactic.

Hopefully the SuperCoach has something else up his sleeve as well.

The Supercoach has prepared well, I've been taking notes from John Buchanan.

All playing be prepared for a 7am training session sometime on the one of the next weekends, where we will all gather together and read The Art Of War, we will then gather into groups and prepare presentations on ancient Chinese philosophers, before a group discussion on everyone's individual definition of "contentment".

Time permitting, we might get a handball drill in too.

On a serious note, the make up of the team won't be fully decided until 1 minute before game day, just can't rely on enough people to turn up and what not.

Out of that list, there's about 19 there that I'm almost certain will show up. So anything else is a bonus.

My main focuses at this stage are having a team that will be able to run out 4 quarters again, and given the probable heat, using the interchange bench effectively to achieve that, making possesion inside the forward 50 as effective possible, and playing an attacking brand of football with a fair bit of flair.

We'll be rotating heavily throughout the midfield, whilst at this stage, hoping to have a fairly similiar forward line set up, with Bull floating between CHF and FF, Shag and BNZ operating as lead out targets, and Barone taking my spot in the pocket freeing up space for the above 2 to lead into, but with a lot better skills :P

Backline is fairly set in stone with Benny, Ryan, Lucas and PJ being the main cornerstones, the final 2 positions down back are certainly up for grabs.

Ruck remains a concern....

I have been reading the Collingwood site and its already out to 9 pages and the more I read about the game the more I wanna play.
Now I wanna win every game we play, and I do everything I can do for the team to try and get us over the line and I know the rest of you do aswell. BUT this game is the 1 boys and girls that we cant, no no no, that we must win!

I know the game is a month away and I know that these games are all in fun, but we all know that its only fun when we are winnning.

Well I can roost it 30 meters, I have girlie moments when I won't attempt to mark the ball in case I break a nail & I'm the only person I know who holds the ball in drop punt position but spins the ball like a torp! My marking is more like a catch & I have a fear of footsteps. I don't think I'm suitable for this team! I'll keep the bar warm.
