Its obviously not the coach, we know they can play as a team, the players are just too scared to execute the game plan, except when there’s no pressure in the first quarter. |

This is the lowest of low since Malthouse. Is this all we have to show from the SIS 66 game rebuild and finishing touches by Austin, Lowest if the lows Traveller said it best. Worst team in the 21st century … easily |

True story. I only watched the last 20 minutes of the game and it was an avalanche. Mckay making effort against gawn on the wing utter rubbish. Some though calls, difficult to tell in mobile with no sound. Melbourne had all the run in the legs Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk |

Not sure about that sinners. First time I thought this is where we find out if Vossy can work through this recurring nightmare. Now I think it’s vossys game plan and some of the players I knew we not afl standard were a real issue. |

And here we are again the worst side in the comp. Utterly ridiculous. Completely unacceptable. Let’s cut the bullshit and make the unannounced rebuild official. Need a circuit breaker because these mentally useless cauliflower are cooked. Again. Won’t see another flag in my lifetime. |

Ollie Hollands more costly errors. Elijah, Ainsworth and Dean our only positives. |

so many of the senior players not up to it, and letting us down. watching weitering leave his man time and time, and go for the intercept, and completely misread it. going the mark in a pack 20m out, when the spoil is the play. playing for himself. cripps lumbering around the place making rookie errors, where he somehow thinks he has time on the ball, but is also the slowest mid in the comp. pittonet tries, but he's good for only about 25-30 mins per game. walsh is a butcher. by hand or foot. doesn't matter. lets give him 8 more years. hewett, looks even slower. he's a bottleneck in our ball movement. chooses the slow play option even tho he has runners. kills us. harry made one lead inside F50 to my recollection today. Hok a waste of a spot. swap him with a runner.he offers nothing. kemp - an appalling footballer. ollie tries, but effort alone isn't enough. his brother has some class, but it's not often enough to sway a game, like say it is with kozzie pickett. perhaps worse than all of this .... the coaching box. players don't look well drilled, no belief, no confidence in the game plan, no idea where to be on the field or what to do at any given moment after qtr time. let's not forget, the Dees are a bottom 4 team, on a 6 day break, after flying back from perth, and they ran all over the top of us. things are dire. |

Kemp, Chesser, HOK were pants. Cripps wasn't a captains arseholes today. McKay tried. Lij tried. Hope Dean's shoulder isn't too bad as he needs the match experience. |

Don't know where we go from here. Ten minutes into Q4 I was saying the coaches had done a good job here. We were picking our way through their defence, swung a surprise with Carroll going forward, took the margin to 20 points and looked good. I asked can we keep it together mentally, well, the team answered that decisively. No more goals scored, SEVEN conceded. Two absolutely basic uncontested marks dropped in D50, two horrible umpiring decisions, put us on edge and once they got in front we absolutely went to bits. By all means sack the coach, maybe we'll even steal a few wins before the opposition figures us out and we start playing like deer in headlights again. Don't like to single players out, but Cripps and H are getting it all wrong as senior players, either trying to be heroic rather than showing a cool head, wimping out of contests, etc. Then we have players like Kemp and HOK who are not close to AFL standard. Then what to do with Ollie? For a team that can't run out a game it seems absurd to drop him, and he still shows great defensive courage, but he is just so bad with ball in hand, he's a gift to opponents with his turnovers and physical weakness. We're just a nervous wreck and our lack of speed is exposed when we start second guessing - our only hope is to move the ball quickly at all costs but we can only do it for 1/4 of a game at most. |

i typed out a pre-game comment about how i had a really bad feeling about his one, beig Gawn and McDonalds 250 games and just the way Mellb move the ball when given space. then deleted the words before i posted. went and mowed the lawn. listen to two minutes of ABC commentary at half time and some cauliflower commentator goes “Carlton will win this game but we need to see if they can kill teams off. that’s what they haven’t been able to do. Melb are prime for the kill. i know Carlton have a habit of losing these leads but they won’t lose this.” as soon as i heard it i knew we would lose it. 43 points isn’t a lead for us it’s a head start against decent opposition. fitness has to be part of the issue. mental fragility has to be another part of it. i don’t know where a club even starts to repair the is kind of rot. bottom out and take very best of the best players from the draft for eight years like North i guess. i always watch the replay but it’s going to be horrific to watch. |
