Trusting the MC with the game plan

Loved the pressure

Loved pitto and TDK

Heroic midfield - all of them

Loved the work of the conditioning team for keeping a team on the park

Love the fact the sky isn’t actually falling

You and me both!! I was still packing darkies with two minutes left!!!

Must admit my sphincter was still in spasm at that point too. Released with 10 seconds to go...haha.

Cripps. Absolute spud. Synbad was right all along. Only 39 possessions and a team lifting game. If he doesn't get 6 brownlow votes we should trade him

What's he ever done, this bloke???

Fat arse too.

Did anyone else see after Hewett was caught holding the ball, it spilt free and one of our player went to ground to pick it up when Toby Greene came over the top and swung his fist into the player? I hope it gets picked up and he is charged with striking.

Wow. What a win.
What a comeback.
Thought we were gone, we just seemed to flick a switch and we turned it around.
Crippa you star.

Giants midfield are unaccountable.

TDK take a bow
Kennedy down back what a champ.
9 goal kickers

Big win

he was immense. if he played like that every game it'd make it hard to drop him. in saying that, it was a career night for him. those two contested marks that just stuck, and he found the ball in a way he's never really done. he looked like darcy from freo at times.

Chalie and Harry 0.5 to half time. GWS are slick and I thought we were in trouble but we just monstered them and crushed them with contested ball and weren’t going to let this slip. I think we were so cocksure against Adelaide 16 points up 7 mins to go we always win the close ones job is done that we let the game slip. Not today. Great win. Very happy

That's it Braithy. The TDK/Pitto combo looks a million bucks when it looks like that. But they both literally had the best nights of their career in playing those roles. We need to see more of that and less of Pitto 6 touches, TDK 8 touches with 3 marks and 0 goals between them.

For now, I have gone from thinking anyone in favour of 2 rucks was crazy to being keen to see the combo again next week. Very happy to be proven wrong based on tonights showing.

How good were the young guys in defence. With weiters and young only going ok. Kemp boyd Cowan all terrific. Walsh is an absolute jet. And Cripps could not play any better.

Best Cripps game since the Brisbane game under Teague, 2019?

Both rucks were fantastic, really worked GWS over & just got on top in Q3

The Q3 blitz made me feel like it was the second half of 1983 again, was just awesome being there with my kids & watching them sit up & come alive again after looking a bit dejected. But my favourite goal of the day was cottrell's in the first, the way he moved & took the initiative says everything about how far he's come as a player. I just love Cotters

Corey Durdin should have got a 50 & taken right to the goal line when he marked & then got buried at the start of Q4. He goaled anyway but still, you shouldn't be able to do that, seriously

GWS would be absolutely filthy with themselves for dropping that, looked like they were all over us & playing really well. They seem to make very few unforced errors with the ball in transition. Good side. We'll meet again more than once again this year I think

Massive win. An absolutely enormous effort from the captain. All is right with the world again

Pros:

Dominant second half and super impressive win.
Mauled them at the centre bounces.
Cripps, Walsh, Pittonet, TDK were all fantastic.
Lots of others really good: Harry, Charlie, Hewett, Boyd, Cottrell, Kennedy, Durdin.
Really liked Cowan's intensity. I haven't seen that from before.
Liked Elijah's game. Nice to see him get a go in the centre square.
Oli's had 2 good weeks.

Cons:

Inaccuracy.
Struggled against opposition ball movement again.
Down on tackles.
Not enough from Fantasia and Owies.
Injuries or soreness to Williams and Weiters.
