we lost this at the selection table.


we were down a man on the bench all game with pittonet there. and then we lose saad and gov with hammies. this was the perfect storm coming.

nah, gov went off with a hammy when we were 16 up. saad already gone, and pitto planted on the bench for the last 15, bcos he was suprlus. it was pretty arrogant to replace cerra with a plundering, slow ruck that can't mark.


we made adelaide look fast.

I know you want to keep beating this drum and I haven’t bought into it until now but that’s the point.

We were one man down for speed compared to the first four rounds.

Losing Saad early made it two.

Rucking is massively overrated when the ruckman can’t play as a midfielder after rucking.

Bad selection.

Adel game derailed our season last year. With the injuries, hope it doesn’t happen again :yikes:

Got what we deserved today. Hard to pinpoint one moment but Kemp and Williams butchering that mark near the boundary opened the door.

Our defensive effort was not the best tonight.
If I had to point a finger, and it’s never just one moment, I would say defense followed by kicking at goal….that old pearler
