Not sure how we will go after the bye. Lions looked pretty flat early last night.
We are going into the game with two of our backline coming in without playing for an extended period.
Marchbank maybe should have come back via the VFL.
I am bit worried about today but hoping I am wrong.

The Lions have been flat since the second half of Opening Round...

Not too worried about Marchbank. Over the last 2 years the club has generally got the timing right bringing players back.

More annoyed about Cuningham & Motlop :banghead:

I don’t like bringing in 2 KPD that haven’t played for months.

I’d have played Marchbank in the 2s

Shows how highly the club rates Marchbank

He was probably our best player in the last game he played

I think if Marchbank is fit he plays as it is only a matter of weeks before he is injured again.

He is a very good player

Kemp very unlucky. I would have preferred to have him given the role as 3rd forward.

Absolutely. Durdin/Fantasia lucky

I know they are different players to Kemp but Kemp could've played that 3rd tall role, especially against NMs undermanned defence

Or...depending on rotations, Marchbank could've played some minutes on a wing and Kemp back in defence

SOmetimes, coming back fro illness is worse as you can't take pain killers for it...energy levels can be the issue...but of course, our S&C team have got that under control we hope
