Yes I had the same question, I didn’t want to loose my captain as club upgrade on my interstate membership so I just bought a second membership just for kayo (digital). The membership person (I can’t assume lady can I?) was extremely helpful when I rang and helped with the process.
Also you don’t need to cancel your existing Kayo subscription, Carlton will email you a voucher code which you use with your existing account for the next kayo renewal.
It’s great value.

Rang club, added membership to existing account, got email and voucher code and then had issues on the Kayo side.
Applied voucher, confirm, added credit card and then Merchant failed, didn't like credit card, tried another credit card, same error.
Got onto Kayo help, issue was my kayo billing was done through my Telstra account.
Had to change billing method on kayo to credit card and then applying voucher worked.
