Yep that's gutting. And infuriating also. He was playing well.

What's the washup for the rest?

TDK got a head knock but I'm assuming he's ok

Pitto some sort of issue with his hand

Gov was doubled over at the end but possibly just winded

Hewett into the 22 next week for Cerra?

Pitto hopefully just a dislocation? It looked like he had his fingers taped together. Possibly a fracture I guess.

Why wouldn't they ice Cerra's hamstring post injury? Could it be that we took him off as a precaution - due to 'awareness'

Cuningham a better replacement for Cerra as we need some pace.

Maybe Cerra was just raising awareness for hamstrings?

Is no ice a good or bad thing?
Like if it's a really bad one is there any point to icing it?

any kind of tear, small or major, you strap ice to it. it helps and aids recovery.

the absence of ice means maybe it went tight on him/ cramped and they pulled him just in case. which is best case scenario.

he walked a lap of the ground handing out balls to fans, and had no noticeable limp either. i thought that was a good sign.

Shit

That probably means 8 weeks on the sidelines with some new bizarre hamstring acute awareness twinge.

He did have some bags of ice on the bench.

Under his left leg.

Hewett is 3 x the player Cuningham is, straight in for Cerra.

Cripps is 3x the player Ollie is, but you wouldn’t replace Ollie on the wing with Cripps would you?
