The Daniel Kerr linkage is scheduled for the 'last 5 minute mega trade' if we can't get Pavlich over the line.

A bit of news from BF;

A few people confident we will have a deal for Hollands by Monday. Both clubs happy to deal.
We are less inclined to trade away our future 1st and 2nd now with an increased unknown in the potential changes to F/S bidding. SOS not interested in giving up anything for Dow. Thinks he will be able to acquire him as a DFA or the PSD. Hollands will come cheaper than we were expecting.
There is a feeling that the player we want at 8 is the player that Geelong would take at that pick so not likely a draft night trade.

Would that player be Connor O"Sullivan ?

Ryley Sanders.

Will he not be going to norf?

Clubs can now only match bids for NGA players after Pick 40.

A couple of rumours from BF;

Hollands and Dow deals both done.
GC isn't haggling, happy to deal Hollands cheap as chips. Even paying some of his salary. Won't cost much.

I saw a link to that this morning. And then I heard Craig Cameron on the radio half an hour later saying the deal was quite a way from being done. :lol:

I wonder if the future 4th rounder that St Kilda ended up with as part of the Henry deal is heading our way for Dow?

Carlton supporters (including me) won’t exactly be dancing in the streets over that return for Dow, but realistically it’s the best we can expect in the circumstances.

Either that or send him to the PSD. IIRC, his grandfather played for North. They could use an inside mid. It would be good to see someone snatch him from under SOS' nose. :lol:

And give Clarko a freebie? Nah, I think I would rather grab whatever points we can get from SOS and help Dow get to his club of choice.

My first preference is to keep Dow, but that’s not happening now.

The thing is, why would you want to keep anyone who chose St Kilda as their club of choice?

Surely we should be paying his entire salary and giving them a couple of draft picks just to get that sort of poison out of the club?

I"d take that . Billings can play . Genuine HFFlanker . Injury the concern . Russell seems to be able to get them going these days so it would be due diligence .

He's due $1million over the next two years...so not sure why Carlton would pony up that amount for a guy who can't get on the park.

If that’s the money, then NFW.

It was said that SOS tried to do a dump to us for Dow but we dont see interested. Similarly like a smaller type Jack Bowes deal. How nice of SOS hey?

Why ? thats far less than Jack Martin and Zac Williams . It could be argued when he is up and running his talent levels are similar . Besides , i reckon the Saints could chip in a bit .

1million a year for Billings is less than what we are paying for Williams and Martin. Sorry Mick - don't think so.
Martin's contract was front loaded but even he didn't get that money in a year.
