Have at it: 1. Won with Harry having minimal impact. 2. Newman blanketed Greene. 3. For once the iffy free kick benefited Carlton. 4. Charlie is just ridiculous. 5. Undefeated! |

Won fugly on the road after looking like we would blow it. Newman Cripps 9.20 suggests we are at least generating plenty of scoring opportunities. 10 of 12 points thus far and we haven’t really got going yet. Plenty of upside still. |

1. Motlop. In great form after a good preseason 2. Oppo supporters on socials pissed off that we won 3. Doc's long bomb set shot. Not as far but from about the spot he kicked one last year 4. Acres' courage. The Richmond game was an aberration. He can play a bit 5. TDK's intensity. Really threw his weight around Sent from my Nokia G21 using Tapatalk |

One will do ............. we won on the road in shocking conditions against a highly talented side . If you can't draw from that then i don't know what . |

1. Things haven’t “clicked” yet, but we haven’t lost a game after 3 rounds. 2. We won interstate (on a cow paddock). 3. Our captain. 4. We showed grit and resilience in the last quarter when in previous years we might have panicked or decided it was all too hard. 5. The continuing improvement of Young & Newman. |

1. We would normally lose that game 2. Desperate efforts in the last quarter 3. McGovern's game 4.Cripps 5. Newman I'll also throw in that perhaps we're starting to build a winning culture |

I'll add another. The death stare that Cowan gave the Giants player who pushed him over the boundary line. Then got up & gave the guy something to think about, not bad for a 3rd gamer! |

Yep. Love it. Cojones. Biggest positive for me was that this was gold Coast 2022 game. Had 'Carlton drop this' written all over it. And we didn't. We have played Richmond, Geelong and GWS and not lost to any of them. That's good. |

1. Cripps won the hard ball battle in the midfield 2. Newman blanketing Green. 3. Small forwards pressure and kick goals again 4. Our 2 rucks soundly beat the in form ruck Matt Flynn. 5.Winning and singing our song on the road. Acres courage amazing. Shows what you can do when you use mind power to cover pain of injury. Tough. |

1 Cripps 2 Newman 3 Defensive pressure after the first 20 odd minutes 4 TDK 5 Resilience - now there's a word I haven't used for Carlton in about 24 years! 6 Our ability to beat sides even though clearly we are the worst team in the league.... |

1. Newmans game on Green cannot be understated. 2. Hollands and Cowan showing good signs again - please keep them in the team, the more senior experience they get the better they will become. 3. CRIPPS - that was probably the best game I have seen him play (and he has played many awesome ones) 4. Small forwards pressure and impact very good by both Owies and Motlop. 5. Ability to control the game and hold off when challenged again, suggests we have learnt from dropping those types of games like we did last year. Still alot of room for improvement though |

It's all been said, but I'd add: Cripps' staring down and giving some gob to our players between quarters. Dunno if he had a word to Vossy about wanting to speak up, or if he just went with it, but I thought it was very apropos. Of course he leads on the field almost all the time (except the odd cock-up when he does too much and gets into trouble) but being able to challenge the boys like that is required from time to time. |

1. Loving the 2 rucks. 2. SOS having a 4 quarter game. Loved the way he worked into the middle of the ground as an out for us. 3. Motlop's continued improvement. 4. Acres is a huge win for the recruiters. 5. Wins without Walsh's 30+ possessions are a huge bonus. Regards Cazzesman |

Regards Cazzesman I reckon you and I are on the same page Points 1 and 2 cannot be underestimated Playing two rucks maybe makes us a little slower but it gives us so much more flexibility with TDK playing backup KPF and KPD and frees up Jack to fight for dear life in that fwd line as well as provide a hit up target when Harry and Charlie are both occupying the same area Told my mates all arvo that Acres played a great game under duress And Motlop was soooo much more involved than I've ever seen him I will add that winning with an 'out of form' Harry and an average Weiters was a good sign (Young seems to step up when Weiters is quiet) And...10% of our team on Saturday were 18yo |

Whilst not one for the ages we won The 2 kids The 2 small forwards The bravest umpiring decision in the history of the game It was super hard to think of just 5 players when giving the votes. |
