We are limping with many injured players currently. You can see guys like Weitering, Stocker, etc. struggling. The effort was there but the composure in the end let us down - ie. Newnes Not sure how you can allow Melksham to kick some of his goals. Umpires paid out of us tonight - big time. THANKS AFL!!! Next week is going to be very hard to watch - hope the boys can bring that next week. |

It was a calamity that last 2 minutes. 4 players allowed Melsken to take mark Newes drop.mark The back kick to Saad Walsh flying against Harry The non free kick to Motlop Young heading the ball instead of marking. Not having 16 players in defensive 50 Just one cock up after another Sent from my SM-F926B using Tapatalk |

Nothing less than that effort next week. Thought our match committee did really well We nullified Lever. Pickett and Fritsch hardly got a touch. Gawn killed us. Ruck has been a headache all year. Free kicks 23-13. Viney got every decision. Cripps was pulled off the ball in exactly the same manner but no free. All considered we were awesome. flower shame we didn't get the result. |

kezza wrote: We just panicked when we didn't need to. Correct, we have done this many times this year. Even during games when we are in front we play quick/50-50 footy giving the opposition a sniff. Need to learn to "kill" the game. We are in front we don't need to play 50-50 footy. Need to learn to play tempo footy and when to attack. Cant believe players are so desperate to move the footy on when we are in front/control. Cripps did this in the 2nd qtr and gave them a goal with seconds to go. |

There was a 1.28 on the clock when Curnow took that mark . We had 4 uncontested disposals in the next bit of play and we turned it over 1.12 on the clock. Instead of using up the full 15 seconds we used 3 to 4 seconds each disposal Dumb Sent from my SM-F926B using Tapatalk |

We can all point to single incidents that yes cost us the game. When I look at the game overall I didn't see many "acts of strength" from Charlie and Harry. I don't see posters pointing that out as contribution to our loss. |

The problem was skills execution. The scrubber to Saad was the worst, but even on the first kick Charlie almost overcooked his 20m backpass, which would have been disastrous if the receiver didn't stretch just enough to hold on. I guess in a bizarre way, this loss streak has meant we're now getting bonus hits of "finals-like atmosphere" into a squad which has hardly played any consequential games between them. A team with big game experience would have executed those passes with ease and forced the opposition to chase them down. |
