Maybe it’s our own ground? We are on it far more than Marvel.

As far as we know we didn't get any injuries last night, one of the few positives.
I went into the Captains Club room before the game and Zac Williams was there being interviewed.
He said he will be back round 22, in time for finals.
Sounds like he may not play seniors again this year in this case.

I was there as well! You must be fun at parties....There are 7 games left are you saying we'll go 2 & 5 or worse?
There are no guarantees in football but it would be a massive turnaround given how we've played most of the year

Taking its toll. Badly missed Weitering & Pittonet last night

Any side missing Weitering Pittonet Boyd McGovern Marchbank McDonald Williams Martin Owies Curnow will struggle for consistency let alone wins

2 wins wont get us into the finals. Even 3 isn't a certainty with our %

When did I say we would go 2 & 5? Just saying he said he wont be back until round 22. Since he wont have played for so long he would not come back straight into the seniors so unlikely to play again even if we do manage to make finals.

Yep. We need 4 wins minimum

I disagree, we gave ourselves plenty of chances to win, we just kept scoring points instead of goals.

I agree 2 wont get us in. I was implying that by saying if we go 2&5 we miss.
I still think 13 wins will get us in. I have this horrible feeling we'll be playing Collingwood round 23 to make sure of it though

didn’t handle the physical pressure in our forward line and the saints making space for themselves in our defensive half. got rattled and sprayed gimmes. not to mention about half the st kilda goals coming from defensive unforced errors or skill errors while being tackled. to many to list. from good players not just depth players.

Mixed reports. One of those injuries that could heal quickly or take a while

Looking at the big picture, making the finals will be a bonus. As the coach says, we are a work in progress. So much work still to be done. I feel much calmer this year before games than for the past 20 years.

No excuses. The window is open now; this season.

We are here to play a style of footy that stands up in Finals.
We have stars on every line.
When we turn it on, we are breathtaking.

Just kick straight for goal and that will fix everything.

Our training surface was just resurfaced. I know posters love it to be anything other than Marvel but simple facts are the ground is a rock. I see WC have similar issues - guess which ground has the 2nd hardest surface? Anyway people want to keep blinkers on, go ahead.

I have to disagree. It would be utterly devastating if we miss the finals from here.

It would also cause psychological damage for everyone involved with the club.

Finals are a must!

Granted Voss and Co are new to the club but 'work in progress' is the biggest get out clause for coaches it drives me crazy.

Personally I think expectations ought to be relatively high given the latent quality on the list and there are plenty of experienced players in the team.

Any less than a finals berth is a fail for this season
Anything we do in finals is a bonus in my eyes
