Guru Bobs quotes, replete with what’s no doubt now a racist accent, were outstanding….. Last weeks game by Carlton reminded me of what General Custer said, just before they were all slain at the Battle of Little Big Horn. “They were running in 2’s and 3’s. There were loose men everywhere “ |

"WET" Tones, a mate of mine was at the pub and he heard from the waitress that her brothers mother was at the service station and heard this guy talking on the phone about his cousin sitting next to Wayne Jackson on a flight from Sydney saying that the next Grand Final will be played at night under lights under the Sydney Harbor Bridge. Can you check that out? |

Can you check that out? I loved that character. Cliff is how I imagine some of those so called “ITK” posters on Big Footy. Helen from Helensburgh was another funny character. |

I did like Digger, he cracked me up, ''I've been a conningwood supporter for 168 years ...Tony''. Who was Digger ? It was Simon Whelan who went on to become a (supreme court?) judge, now retired and back on the coodabeens. |
