Like Blue Sombrero I admired him as a player. Super skilled...p[layed 200 games.
Was selected in a strong team when the likes of King Kerna and co were still around in the 90's

Plenty at TC didn't like his haircut...I still dont get what haircuts have to do with footy skills.

For some reason we have gone from whipping boys to naming everyone on the list who is a dud player.

Of the 90s, how could you forget Mark Athorn and...........Mark Athorn. Mm, the performance in the '93 GF still jars

Didn't Tim Rienets kick 3 goals with his first 3 kicks in his first game?

Athorn was that bottom six that wasn’t quite up to standard, like Sholl.

Met Blake on a wine tour with my first wife. Good bloke, played like Ramsay for a year in the VFL, but was given opportunity in AFL.

Ezra should never have been drafted. I knew his stories in Geelong.

Speaking of Menzel, we could actually have an entire thread on 'Unfulfilled talent'.

Lawrence Angwin would first in that thread….

I mean, this is just shameful Callan Beasy erasure.

Luke Livingston.

Drafted as a forward then thrown down back, ultimately being delisted by the Blues at 23. Played couple of years in the VFL before going home to Kerang and kicking a ton.

I thought Blake Campbell was really going to come on at one stage. Saw him play a great game at Etihad, against the dogs maybe

I remember Campbell and Thornton starting about the same time and discussing (probably with you actually) that I thought Campbell was a long term prospect but Thornton wouldn't last 5 mins
